As has already been stated....Yes the s/c is covered for 5 years/60,000 miles (the factory powertrain warranty) as long as it is the TRD kit and installed by a certified Toyota Tech at a dealership.
You can also purchase extended warranties to cover the vehicle longer.
Now if 5 years or 60,000 miles from purchasing the tC....THEN you decide to buy the s/c, it's only covered for 12 months. Still pretty good.

Yap, Super Charge your bill.....
if you want them, you got to pay.
i think that's what TRD calls the price you pay to have Toyota install your parts...

And again the unit is called a supercharger, not "Super Charge".
P.S. If you shop around you can get an SC installed by a dealer for $400, and they will give you a free loaner for the day. Done this twice

to see if Toyota doing same as WRX or Evo 8 owner. WRX and Evo 8 don't get warranty for the turbo they have..... don't know why, many of my friend they all have problem like that.
