I say yes. I think this because all other TRD kits are covered so why would this one not be?

1) What is Super Charge?

2) trdusa.com:
TRD Superchargers - Dealer-installed TRD Supercharger systems are warranted by TRD for 12 months or for the remainder of the vehicle's Toyota Powertrain Warranty when installed by a Toyota dealer.
The TRD supercharger warranty covers not only the defective dealer-installed TRD supercharger, but also any Toyota-warranted part that is damaged or caused to fail by the defective dealer-installed TRD part.

Ok. Let me try to explain it for the 4th time here. The whole car including the SC is warranteed up to the limit of your normal factory warranty. Which is 5 years/ 60K. If you install the SC in year 5, then the SC is warranteed for 12 months. Call TRD, they are paid to explain it.

As has already been stated....Yes the s/c is covered for 5 years/60,000 miles (the factory powertrain warranty) as long as it is the TRD kit and installed by a certified Toyota Tech at a dealership.

You can also purchase extended warranties to cover the vehicle longer.

Now if 5 years or 60,000 miles from purchasing the tC....THEN you decide to buy the s/c, it's only covered for 12 months. Still pretty good.

Nothing (NOTHING) happens to your factory warranty - your car will still be covered. The whole thing. I used this warranty personally on a TRD SC'd car. No problems. If you don't trust me - call TRD, call your dealer, talk to Scion HQ. Or join "Thomas - The Unbeliever Union"

And again the unit is called a supercharger, not "Super Charge".

P.S. If you shop around you can get an SC installed by a dealer for $400, and they will give you a free loaner for the day. Done this twice [/b]

I know what the point was. But the original poster asked a question and then invalidated his query by saying.. I am not getting the SC anyway.
