Washing Wheel Wells
I wash mine every time I wash my car,and every now and then I spray some wax there too to keep then nice and smooth, that way the dirt and road debris doesn't stick in there too much,my car is two years old and my fender wells look like new.
Absolutely... it feels incomplete if I don't. Sort of like washing the entire car except the front end or something.
During regular washing, I use soap and water. Every few months I use Meguiar's APC 4:1, then scrub with a brush.
Then it gets dressed with Armor All Tire Foam to restore blackness and to make future cleaning easier... because clean wheel wells do you little good if they're all grey, faded, and ugly.

ALWAYS! It looks crappy if someone os looking at your wheels and there's **** all in the wheel wells. I spray them then wash them w/ a towel seperate from what I use on anything else.

Do you wash behind your ears when you bathe? Just because you can't see it doesn't mean that it's not important.
Worst case scenario, you accumulate some road salt under there and it could lead to premature rusting.
