Default Weak engine mounts.... anyone?

During heavy trafic stop lights come on at every enterance to one of our freeways. I come to a halt and wait for it to go green. When it does I do my best to gitty up and hit 60mph or so as quick as possible. My first to second shift produced a noteable {{clank}} noise from the driver side of the engine bay. I couldn't have been any highet then 4500 rpms when I droped the clutch into second gear. So what gives... with all the talk of engine mods... especially the forced induction kinds... what are people using for engine mounts? Is there atleast a auxulary engine brace avalable? The 2AZ isn't that powerfull in stock trim so why was I able to torque the engine enough to make contact somewhere?

Weapon R is making something i believe to hold the engine in place. Cybergypsy did you go on vacation for a while? Cuz you werent posting and now we have to deal with your bs again! The reason you probably hate the tC is because your too poor to finance it. Now you just make up stuff about Mercedes to make people think your better.

Seriously cybergypsy you need to get a life. I didn't care at first because I knew that you can't please everybody, but I see you in here every day just flaming the tC. I wouldn't care if you flamed the ricers but flaming everybody is just stupid. Go out and get laid or something. Do you even own a Scion, or do you just come here to be an attention *****?

Well if you drive drive a benz and a bmw then why are you flaming a 16k toyota. Obviously the luxury cars are gonna be nicer than the toyota in it's first production year. You're "friend" didn't buy their tC thinking it would be able to compete with them did they? What Scions do you have just out of curiosity? If you are as wealthy as you imply you are you must have the means to go out and do something productive, rather than beating on a car on the internet.

Yet more proof that cybergypsy doenst know anything about cars. The resale value on the tc being bad? You barely lose money when you resell them because of such high demand. I havent seen anyone have problems selling them. Even the ones on ebay all go for almost full dealership price. GET A LIFE. You have 2 scions a benz and a bmw YEAH RIGHT!

You don't know a thing about supply and demand. Normally a car drops 3-4k when you drive it off the lot. But when a cars demand is so high that it takes a month to get one. Well guess what, its not gonna drop 3-4k! Get a clue! Take one look on autotrader and see that the cheapest tC is 16500 with few options. Why are you so igorant?

W3rd. I was considering selling my car and buying my buddies Jetta GLI, and he was gonna get a G35C, but decided not to because he started having major problems with the engine and tranny. Not _____ little problems like a little rattle on the hatch.

When I was trying to buy my Scion in Fort Lauderdale, (King Scion and Lipton Scion), I wanted to drive both an xB and a tC...not only were there not "tons" of tc's on the lots, there weren't any for me to even test drive...this was two weeks ago. Just this morning I got a call that there was one in at Lipton Toyota, but it is too late. I drove an xB, loved it, and bought it, so it didn't really matter to me...but to say there are TONS on the lots is not only an overstatement, it aint true. Not trying to be contrary, gypsy, just giving my experience.

Could you try and not get sidetracked? I posted about better then stock engine mounts or a drivetrain brace. Anyone have something to say about that?
