Yeah, Id like to actually make a bottom grille to go along with the top. jsut havent had enough time to do it.

I know this is an old thread but hopefully the owner will read this.I think its great that your actually trying to design and craft your own modification to your car.Not all of us have alot of money to dish out.I agree the grill might look kinda funky but hey you'll get better at it the more times you try to make it.Keep doing things to your car that make YOU happy,dont worry about what these other people think about your car,they arent paying for your car or driving it so whatever your tastes I say embrase(spelling) them!

This thread is why I don't come in the tC Owners Lounge anymore. Not the car, the people who replied with "Puke" and "Rice." I think the the top grill looks great. The Neons are a nice touch, but be careful with those, I know how here you get big fines for them

was it rice 50 years ago when guys modified their cars? no they did it for style and performance, just like most guys do today. and i say most cause i know some do it all wrong. it's ok to be different, the sooner everyone realizes that we're not all alike, the sooner we'll begin to accept each other's differences. unless you want to continue to perpetuate your ignorance, then there's little hope for you my friend(s).

Please dont encurage him anymore people. I have never tried it but Im sure I can do bette than that. Anyways just do the bottom all over again and you will be fine. Why dont you cut a much smaller hole and then bend it in to make it bigger .. Little by little until it's the right size for the fog light. Until then put the stock back on and save the jokes people will through your way

Not a fan of the wire grills, but it's a good attempt at a DIY mod that costs $2.50 to do.
Practice makes perfect I guess. Hope you got the bottom grill sorted out. Here's a hint for next time: on a piece of cardboard outline the head of the fog light, then use that as your template to cut them out your new grill.
As for the underbody lights, to each their own.
