Default weelo finally started modding again!!!! UPDATE pg2

so its been about 3 months since i parted my car thinking i was pcs-ing to japan, now that im here to stay i figured i needed to get back to working on the car, so i ordered another cold air (the new one from aem for the 08's), also picked up a set of 8000k hids, got the corbeau a4 seats from lil will, painted alittle more in the inside, painted and cleared my valve to match the gray intake (i thought the intake was silver when ordered, but its gunmetal, i like it more that way), and i also did the led rear license plate lights to make the rear look alittle better at night. now just wanting on nebster to let me know if my fog lights have shipped and those will be on next, heres a few pics

the cai is sweet!!! nice straight through design better then the injen ( i have had injen and fujita and this one is my fav), cleaner bends, huge filter, but the lower section was dinged up by the way it was boxed, kinda made me upset but its not seen once installed so im still happy!!!

valve cover painted to match:

need another header:

new seats:

hid's:
during the day, notice i painted the markers and placed amber bulbs in the city lights, i love the look:

at sunset:

What kind of hatch is that? I'm somewhat looking into a CF hatch.

Are those seats custom upholstered or a 'stock' color for Corbeau? They're awesome. Any problems with airbags, etc with them?

Need4Bass05- i had a cf hatch at one time, got it from a guy on here, but it rattled too much and no window defog, plus vis told me there were no shocks to use so i traded it off for a oem bsp painted hatch, it has the look like its cf, but is still stock, i like it better, dont have to worry about fading

Twilight2ner- they are ordered straight from the dealer like that, only problem is the airbag light is on, but thats no biggie, when i get the money i want to do harnesses, but for now the stock seatbelts bolt right up to the brackets and the beeping sound goes off when its fasten, so im happy, i only had my armrest, ebrake cover and shift boot done custom so far to match

sciontC- me too, i really like that i basecoat/clearcoated the bezel so it shines all crazy like at night,, i choose blue cause the factory 08 upgraded radio can be changed from orange to blue with a touch of the button, so it made it easier

Is there a way to get around the airbag light? Will it affect anything else (such as the front airbags working properly?

not sure about the rest of the airbags working or not, thats something youll have to talk to a toyota tech about, but to be honest next thing i want to do is a steering wheel so ill be losing the airbag anyways

Or another option is to get harnesses. With those you wont be going anywhere in the event of a crash.
