Hey did anyone else know about this? :
http://www.kaminari.com/scion-tc-roof-carbon
I remember when it used to cost over $1000 for one of these....now it looks like the full carbon roof is $395.
Anyone know what the weight savings would be?

dont think anyone ever bought into it and i would be very weary of 395 for a roof of carbon. and not sure how well fitment would be....i can honestly say i dont think i've seen a single person on here or on other scion forums who've owned one

I wouldn't be weary of $395......Kaminari is known for their high quality, and the $400 mark seems about right for a piece that size, it's only replaces the glass on top, not the hatch. If you think about it, a cf hood or cf hatch require even more carbon fiber to make and they only run about $450 brand new. (I got a deal and got my V.I.S. carbon fiber hood brand new for $400.)
I imagine the weight savings is huge though, because the roof glass/sunroof rails have got to weigh at least 120 pounds
