weird substance found in car
i noticed this along time ago about my car but i've decided to post it now. when i took it to get it washed the first time and i pushed the driver seat up i noticed when i looked down to vacuum the back that on the rails that driver seat slides on there is a yellowish glue like substance but it's not sticky and it's been 5 months now and the stuff is still there, it hasn't dried out or anything. has anyone else encountered this?
Yeah, i have that too. It's normal. It's there to keep the rails movin smoothly. I noticed it on accident looking for a quarter that fell under the seat...and my hand went into the goo..it was gross

If so, this is the grease they put on the rails of the seat, so that it can move back and forth smoothly. Dont touch it, every car has it.
