Well, I got rid of my tC...
and got a new tC!
Traded in my '06 Super White for a '08 Blue Ribbon metallic. Overall everything seems the same. I don't really like the factory sub though, it's way too boomy. I'll get pics up in the next day or so. Is there anyway to adjust the level on the sub? Or do I just need to un-plug it? Has anyone transferred their TPMS sensors to different wheels?

I transfered my TPMS to my Falken wheels. I didn't have any problems but i heard some wheels might have problems, I called Falken up and they said it wouldn't be a problem so I bought em. Just give the wheel manufacturer a call before buying wheels and they'll let you know. Although during the winter I drove w/o TPS and all was good. Light came on like 2 months after wheel change but i got used to it soon enough. I just drove with it on the entire winter.

Yeah I'm going to miss my SW, but I'll get over it. I've already gotten pulled over in it. Just now I was on the way home from a friends house, and I'm adjusting my mirrors because some jerk is tailgating me. I have the cruise control set at 55 MPH. I haven't had anything to drink in hours. All of a sudden lights, okay so I've ad my car for less than eight hours, no insurance card, no registration, all I have is my license and the insurance card for my other car. I pull over, kill the car, roll down the window and put both hands on the wheel. The officer blinds me for a good 15 seconds with his spot light before asking me to get out of the car. He then tells me that he pulled me over for swerving and asks me if I have been drinking TONIGHT. I tell him that I haven't been drinking TONIGHT, and he says that he can smell the presence of alcohol. Then he asks me have I been drinking TODAY. I tell him that yes I have had a few drinks TODAY. So then he goes into the "You just told me that you have not been drinking TODAY. So now I just know that I am going to get a DWI for making the mistake of driving my new car on Independence Day. He tells me that he is going to do one test and if I pass he'll let me go. He pulls out a pen and asks me if there is anything wrong with my eyes. I tell him that I have astigmatism and he asks, "Which eye?" He does the pen test and I fail(take note of the 15 seconds of 1,000,000 candle watt light in the eyes). So he has me do the line walk. I pass and he tells me that I'm not intoxicated. He lets me go with a warning to slow down. Not I'm not trying to bash Law Enforcement in any way, but this cop really WANTED to hand out DWI's tonight. He wasn't interested in saving lives, or protecting and serving, he just wanted to hand out DWI's. Louisiana has very strict DWI laws. First offense one year license suspension, and when you get your license back you have to have an intoxilizer for a year. Don't get me wrong I do not condone drunk driving, the girl I took to prom was killed by a drunk driver, but DWI's are a money making racket in Louisiana. I am sure that the officer had a holiday quota to fill. Luckily I hadn't been driving under the influence, and I was intelligent enough not to push the point...

It's cool though I am not one to throw stones, I have been through 3 cars in one year before. People these days practically live in their cars.... might as well be happy with them.

Good luck w/ the car. And nice trade BTW. I would have done the same thing.
for $3/month more and a couple more years financed, it wouldn't be worth it to me. lol, i mean not for a tC at least. but to each their own. whatever makes the person the happiest is best.
