Default What accessories is everyone getting on their tC?

I was just curious what accessories people are leaning towards?

I was thinking about getting the exhaust and cold air intake, however, I may wait until other 3rd parties start jumping into the Scion fray.

I think (if I do get one) will just get a bare bones Scion. I may possibly spring for the oil cap and the battery tie down since that would be only $100 or less for both. Depending on how cool they look.

I have no need for the 6CD player...it's cool, but I can just switch discs. The sub would be nice, but I've heard mixed opinions on this. could proably upgrade all speakers if I really wanted.

The only other thing is either the 18" or 19" wheels....I guess it depends how they look and the cost...I heard they were pretty pricey and the 19" rubbed a little bit on extreme turns (so they say)

So, it looks like nothing for me, which is good.....need to save some cash.

The wheels will cost you about $1700 for the 18s youd be better off waiting and finding some on the internet or in a car mag you like. When i went in to order my XB i wanted all the options but i realized it would be cheaper to put on whatever i wanted later on. I am getting fog lights, spoiler, and the sunroof.

My tC will be arriving bone stock. Silver and a Stick shift, nothing else.

I will consider other options later. But I will have to see them or drive a tC with them first. The Supercharger should give a nice boost of power to the tC. I also would consider an exust to give the engine a better sound. The stock rims are nice, I would have to see some really nice 18s for me to want to replace them. I would consider the tC door and trunk opening protectors. Any stereo upgrade I will go after market for. I may have to get the face mask to prevent rock chips on long trips. Only time will tell what options I will get.

From the dealership, I'm planning on the exhaust. Then i'll probably ride out to the closest Circuit City or Best Buy and invest in a nice subwoofer.

Assuming this is the car I get... I will likely go with the S/C for warranty purposes and maybe pay the premium for the wheels (depends on how disgusting the price is). We have some great shops that do custom exhausts at a reasonable price here in Atlanta and I do my own stereo work rather than letting the hacks mess something up. No idea what I will do beyond that performance wise. Will probably wait and let some people trial and error headers, induction, etc. I will probably get a custom shop here to redo the seats in leather as well.

I'm going with the lip spoiler, Borla exhaust, strut bar, AEM Intake, trd quickshifter security, and if I'm lucky.. side airbags.

I figure- what the hell, I dropped a 26K Solara deal for the car. With all these options it comes to about 21K out the door... I'll throw in the supercharger in Nov and still be under 25K!

No need for rims...

Same HP in a lighter and more nimble car with more std features.. I'm looking forward to it!

I'm getting (on my BCP 5-speed) the 6-disc changer, floor mats, lighting kit (under dash and cupholders), B-pillar appliques, and speed star mesh shift ****.

I wish it would hurry up and get here! :D

I went spoilerless but thinking about getting one later... I just couldn't decide. I'll take any opinions on this, especially ideas about what kind of aftermarket ones would be nice.

If you're getting the lighting kit, you might want to check out the Auto-dimming Mirror. It has colored "ambient lighting" built into its map lights.

Yeah, thanks. I was thinking about the auto-dimming mirror but I just thought that 310 bucks wasn't quite worth it. Maybe later on I might add it.

many plans for this car. first things would be tint, alarm with remote start, and HID conversion kit. later on, a nice suspension setup starting with a strut bar, and larger diameter sway bars. coilover suspension will be added after a year or something. looking at the pix of the stock wheels, im already looking for aftermarket wheels and tires. interior??? ummm... ill keep it stock for little while. as for performance... i really hope TRD goes a turbo route with the tc, that would be good investment opportunity
