What accessories are worth getting?
I just put a down payment on a silver automatic (yes I had no choice
) 06 Tc, it's going to be 3 weeks before I get it, but that's a different story.
The only accessories I got were the taillights, pedestal spoiler and the carbon fiber dash. I was going to get the rims and the ground effects kit, but I decided to drop the rims because of that fact I can get better for cheaper.
But I am still up in the air about maybe adding on the ground effects kit, I have never seen a pic of what it looks like nor have I seen one in person. If some people can post some pics of some tc's with the ground effects kit on it, preferably in silver, I would appreciate it. Also if you can give me any advice or an opinion on if it is worth getting the ground effects or not.
Thanks in advance.

I got mine with the ground effects kit, and the pedestal spoiler (amongst other options), and I am very glad I did. I think it adds alot to the car, and with the 18" wheels on it, it makes it look even better too!
I have an RS1.0...The ground effects are alright IMO...if you get them or your car is going to come with it, then that's fine. I wouldn't go out of my way to get it now though. I won't say anymore than that...you can see the pics for yourself and see what you like and don't like.
But as always, that's IMO. To each their own. I also don't like the after-market kits out there either...to 'ricey' for me.
My first 2 mods, once I get some money for it, are lowering springs (or possibly coilovers, depends on the $$) and a Weapon R intake. I think lowered vehicles look just as nice as cars w/ ground effects.
My tc comes with the 18inch rims as a standard option. They are alright...but yes, you could probably find something else for a lot less. I like the rims, I just don't like how they are 'stock' for anyone who upgrades, because I'm seeing tons of tc's, not just the RS1.0s, with the same rims as me.
In all honesty, unless you really really like the 18inch Enkeis and the ground effects kit, I wouldn't purchase any other options because you could get a lot of good aftermarket stuff for a lot cheaper, and you might find something you REALLY like later down the road.
Ground effects kit or no, get it lowered. I feel like I'm driving an SUV sometimes...I can't wait to get mine done.

You can put them on yourself and save around 200 bucks... that's what I did... I just went to the dealer and bought the parts. They are CAKE to install.
