Default what causes this?

after about a day of driving i find there to be black all around the wheel well, and also on the front and rear fender. i think it might be my tires, but then again it could be break dust. i dont think i break hard at all, and i dont chirp my tires except a few times from 1st to 2nd. has anyone else experienced this? does anyone have a solution to this?

sounds like tire shine to me. my new rims/tires stick out past the fender wells and threw tire shine ALL OVER the sides/windows the first time I shined up the tires and didn't realize that would happen.

ya... dealers like to use econo detailing supplies and yeah.... as you see, they're not that great.

mine did the same after picking it up from the dealer. I actually drove it out of the wash bay after they got done detailing it. by the time i got home, i had the same problem. not a big deal, just cleaned it right off.

LOL, I was actually going to say tire shine because the stuff that I used to use did the same thing, but figured you would realise that already. Haha. Guess I am overthinking things. It is simple to remove, just spray on some quick detailer and wipe it off using a microfiber towel.
