this is the way all tC's are, except those customized differently by the dealer.

Well why do some people have gray roofs and some have tans?

I'm pretty sure that they are all the same color. I think people are percieving them differently...I wouldn't call mine "tan" or "gray" - it's more like a cream color, or really light beige.

That's the most likely answer. Dealerships would have definitely sad something if we could choose what color our interiors are. The headliner is a grayish, tanish, cream color In different lighting situations it looks completely different.

I noticed the pattern on the seats has a blue tint to it, I'm cool with that becuz my car is IIP, but i wouldn't like it if i had a different color exterior, like red. Are all the seats stitched with blue in them?

Since the original post was made by someone that has apparently had two tcs he probably knows if the colors are the same or different. Am I right here??

I'm pretty sure I can tell the difference between the two colors. ((I'm female by the way)) Your "really light beige" would be the "tan" one I was describing.

Maybe they didn't care to tell us because it would make it an even longer wait to get one if we specified in which interior we wanted. Just a thought. About the blue tint, haven't really noticed. I'll look in the morning.

ever thought about changing the doorside panel's mesh like meterial to suede also ?
and maybe even the "tan" or "grey" part too, that we're talking about on this topic.

It's supposed to be monospec--meaning everyone's interiors should be exactly the same.

Unless those of you with 'tan' interiors actually have earlier production models, before they switched to the cream, almost white color I've seen on every tC's headliner.

It would be news to me if some tC's are different. I highly doubt it.

Also, The headliner is a light taupe. Taupe is a grey/tan. So this may be where the confusion is coming from.

I was told by the dealer that all headlines were standard grey without an option of another color
