Default What to do with 2.5 months of savings???

Ok guys and girls I currently am saving $500 bucks from each paycheck (payed bi-weekly) to start saving for a house but I still want to buy sopme things for the tc. I compromised with myself the other day and decided to spend only 2.5 months of saving so I would be spending no more than $2500 on the FM tC. Well I currently have spent $1200 on rims...$360 on an alarm now what do I do with the rest?

I currently have a Clarion 7" indash, a complete Elemental Designs setup with edi6500 upfront powered by a 9.4 and two eu-700 subs in rear powered by a 9.2x. Also I have a 30 GB iPod in my console and a PS2. So...

Budget....$2500
Rims.......$1200
Alarm......$ 360
Remaining $940

I personally would like to lower my car alittle bit maybe TRD springs and also the TRD sway(sway bar is a must), I could also get an exhaust and CAI but my car will never be a truely fast car in my eyes becuz it will cost way too much. So what would you spend the money on? Any and all suggestions feel free

If you're serious about the house, keep saving and don't spend it right now.

that's not funny...

but yeah.. if your saving for a house.. save for the house... saving is the best thing to do.. something little like lowering it is ok.. cuz it doesn't cost too much.. and you dont have to put that much into rims.. and always check sponsored sales and ppc.. see whats floating around there.

Save for the house.

But if you're serious about getting the TRD springs, get the TRD struts at the same time, and do it right.

Why not get the suspension goodies, and save everything else for a little while more?

Put that $ in an ING Direct account and earn 4.5%.

After a couple years of interest you can buy whatever you want.

i say drop it, tint it, and cf hood that bad boy, all make a hell of a difference, for those saying save it, no way, you only live once, sounds like you have a good job, keep it, save then after mods.

You should keep most of that for the house. I'd say give yourself something small and nice once a month for the tC. One month get like an intake. Then another exhaust. Then another sways, etc. But don't go blowing 2.5 months worth of work on stuff all at once. If you do you're gonna keep doing that and never have enough for a down payment for a house. It's a slippery slope.

Don't listen to anybody that is telling you not to buy a house.

Well I think Skeorx and the rest of the people advicing to save are leaning me back on track with where I started. I have already spent $1560 on my rims/tires and my alarm. So I will ride like that for awhile and then I will only buy the stuff I need to continue with the suspension. So I will get the TRD springs/sways/struts later but I will have to buy them all at once and do the install all at once becuz it makes more since to do it that way. So I guess for now I will continue saving for the house again. Plus around christmas time I will bank some good money... OT at like $25+ in hour and plus Holiday pay so I will start getting good checks here in about 5 or 6 months. Plus next weeks paycheck will be nice becuz of the july 4th pay plus the OT I put in to help the rest of the managers putting our back to school section up. Thanks guys for all the advice.
