i had another small question .. after the repair, can ya tell where the repair was made or does it look like nothing ever happend?

luckily the hit is on the passenger side so i dont have to look at it when im driving ...

Those glass repair places really can work wonders. I had my last car for maybe six months when I'm on the road to Vegas and a truck kicks up the hugest rock. I saw it coming even, it was like slow motion - I'm going "Nooooooooo!"

Puts THREE big pits in my windshield. The repair guy said it'd be tricky, but he fixed it, and no one ever noticed it unless I pointed it out.

BTW, if a truck kicks up a rock, take down the company's name and the plate. They're liable (especially if the truck doesn't have mudflaps). No need for the hassle if your insurance covers it, though.

well .. i got the repair done today .... and it looks like crap .. but the guy said there wasnt anythin more he could do ... said if it bothered me that i should get a new windshield .. but they arent gonna carry them in stock for a while cuz its such a new car .. so im stuck w/ it .. it looks about halfway better ... still very noticeable .. oh well ... dunno what i can do ...
