What do you do when you see another tC owner drive by you??

I remember when my mom first bought her New Beetle and no one had them other Beetle owners would flash their high beams.
Ive seen a good amount of tC around my area. I give a little wave sometimes.

I think Im going to start flashing the high beams. Just as a friendly Hi :D

 

I feel the same way sometimes. I've concluded that either you get the friendly look over and nod....sometimes a "nice car" comment with a grin. On the other hand, you get the guy who pretends to be badass by ignoring that you have a tC as well and punches it in the middle of traffic...maybe trying to prove he is better than you. :-)

 

I thought flashing hi beam means... you wanna race?! *hehe* What that game called?!....

I saw another tC... I waved. Same color too... they knew I was there since when I passed them they come catching up. *hehe* Cool...

Usually wave during day time as they can see me... hardly look over at night. Same with other cars that come side by side as then they think I want a piece of them *haha*. Not to be rude... but making eye contact some people think you want to race or something.

 

Tokyo Xtreme Racer! loved those games!...

Flash lights or rev engine??? maybe we could start some sort of special wave? ... on second thought, nah, thats a lil too fruity.

 

Around here, it means "I've got road rage."

Or "I want to temporarily blind you."

 

I have yet to see another tC here in the Silicon Valley except mine so I can't comment much.

But, as for when I'm driving my 67 Bug, I get a lot of head nods from other VW owners.

 

Hmmm it's a nod and a grin for me.

i remember when i got my New Beetle...i'd have to plan for extra time driving because people would always want to tell me stories about having one in college etc.....Scion drivers haven't been friendly at all...not one wave yet..i can see them make eye contact but they always look away...i tried starting a conversation with a guy in a Hot Lava today...i asked "so how do you like your Scion?"..he just looked at me and got in his car without saying a word..maybe he's still upset that there are four or five of his limited color driving around town..who knows..but definately not a warm Scion community around here so far.

 

Yeah, I tried to do that at first with the xB. The car in front of me would usually throw on their brakes or start giving me crap and the xB drivers usually wouldn't see. Now I usually just wave or sometimes I'll flash my foglights...

 

When I had my Scion Life sticker I would point to it, I remember driving threw Bayside Lakes and I seen a Camo xB he was cool as hell He is like wow first time I seen one on the road... When I see other tC's they are either a girls who will just look at me, Or guys who wanna drive fast like their car is faster then mine? lol I think xB owners are nicer then tC owners.... I should of been an xB owner because im nice...

 

Whenever I see another TC on the road i stick out my tongue and give the sign of the devil, u know that rock and roll sign. Most of them give it me right back or honk the horn and wave. I can so feel the love with these cars, only the cool people have these cars.

usually when other tC driver spots..mostly girls i don't know y...they drive up next to me and say hi...usually they cute too =)

 

lol.. someone told me if i flashed lights or get flashed during the day..from oncoming traffic.. it means a cop is around the corner or down the street... you know to tell them to slow down... (not like i speed too much)

i wish...nobody around here cute... this one guy i went to school with is like 19 now.. and some girl who doesnt wave...oh well

 

lol kinda funny that this post is up at the top now, I was just driving around for fun earlier today and saw an IIP as we both pulled up at the stop sign just looked over, a small wave and big smile, then slowly turned so she could catch up (i think it was a she at least....)

 

I have not yet seen a tC acknowledge me in my box... but I have nodded and exchanged honks with xBs and xAs. At night (since its hard to see the drivers) I've flashed hazards with others.

Thats the wave I do to my friends. It normally goes like.......honk my horn and wave like an idiot. Hahaha

Usually girls pull up next to me and check out the car. I love the way this car gets attention. Pretty much all the girls that like the car are good lookin.
I dont think Ive seen girl tC owners around my area though.

So it seems like a simple nod works fine. So far Ive seen about 8 tC owners. One Ive actually stop and talked to at a car meet. Today I saw an older guy in a white one. I raised my pointer finger off the steering wheel as he drove by. I dont think he noticed me.

Theres this Flint Mica drivin around by a younger guy. He seems like an ___. I saw him once when I was in my friends fast Mirage. He pulled into a gas station and parked all fast. Then I saw him in our tC and he just broke his neck. I knew the TRD springs make a difference but damn
