there's more room in our backseat than even other 4 door cars... like the Mazda 3, for example

I get upset when someone says "oh, but the backseat is sorta small..." without even sitting in it! They just assume it is simply because it doesn't have two extra doors... come on

I hate that my tC is such a good buy for the money. I hate that I now put 25% of my income towards a car payment, when I could have gotten a crappy Korean car for 15% of my monthly income instead. I hate that my tC is so reliable, giving me no reason to pop the hood and admire the beautifully crafted engine bay. I hate that it came with a sunroof, moonroof, 17" allow rims, iPod connectivity, cruise control, loads of space in the front and back seats for me and my friends, all of whom are 6' 0" - 6' 4".

In all honesty, if you're going to complain about some stupid rattle from your trunk...maybe you should have bought a domestic car, that way you could have a real problem to occupy your time. If there was ONE thing I could change about my tC, it would be adding a rear window wiper. I got spoiled by it on my 3000GT.

The Miata is honestly no speed demon. It handles real well, and you can toss it around like a go-cart. Keep in mind that mine is 16 years old, so it doesn't have the performance of the later generations.

I've never driven anything that shifts as fun/sporty as the Miata, to include the Porsches I owned. But, if I do pick up a tC next year, it isn't going to be with the intention of replacing the Miata.

bdballer69, you got me. I meant to write that the clutch pedal seems too close to the brake. Fortunately, my feet do know the difference!

That was supposed to be satirical... :-\ I'm quite calm, I assure you.

And I've had my car for since the last day of September...and about 1,250 miles. And I freakin' love it.

Precisely my point...every car undergoes wear and tear. So why do people complain about squeaks, rattles, etc.? If you have a problem with it, fix it.

The open differential and the seats are what I hate the most. Other than that I love everything else.

yea, well my bro's 3 is doing fine, we bought his 3 when it first came out in 2004, it's running real good, the ride just gets better and better. So we thought Toyota wouldn't be worst than Mazda, so we decided to get my tC

Didn't think about that one. A LSD would've been nice, but probably wasn't worth it to Toyota given that the majority of tCs sold would be N/A. Plus that would bump the price up a bit.

have u been in any other hatch cars? try being in the back of an eclipse or a mustang... this backseat room is soo spacious and the back seats recline Your crazy!!

and the post about the clutch and the gas i think the gas and the brake are too close together if anything is...
I'm just saying... my 6'1" buddy hopped in the back of my tC, and his hair could touch the rear windshield. Maybe that's normal for hatch cars (this is my first), I don't know.

Try reclining the rear seats all the way back. My hair touched the ceiling, but after reclining them I found the headroom to be quite adequate.
