Default What a great day.... or at least i thought it would be!!

I just droped my girlfriend off at her house, turned around and pulled up to the intersection... i looked to my left and saw that a GMC Envoy come up the road pretty fast.. then i looked to my right and saw that there were cars coming but they were pretty far back... so i thought about going till i noticed that the roads were pretty wet and the Envoy was closer than i thought.. Then straight across from me was a Minivan pulling out of Weis Market.. all of a sudden she guned it across both lanes of traffic... the Envoy slamed on its brakes and started sliding and she tried to miss the Minivan but slammed into the passengers side (back towards the rear tire) .... which spun the van (keep in mind i was just sitting there mindin my own business) right into the drivers side fender and door of my car... it all happend soo fast that i had no reaction time. When the accident all over i was like she didnt spin into me that hard there cant be that much damage... or at least i thought so.. i get out of my car and see that my fender and light is all smashed up and my wheel is leaning way in and out and my hood is all bent up.. i was soo mad because that lady had to shoot across both lanes when she could have waited just another minute and let the Envoy pass .... i was really the mosted ticked off when the lady slamed into me becuse this was my first real accident with my new baby.. after all that i saw the lady that caused the accident pull out a.. i would say a 2 month old baby i was like who in the hell would pull across both lanes like that with that young of a baby in the back..i dont know some ppl are a lil messed up..all in all there was no one hurt thank god.. except my car lol

P.S.- sorry guys i dont have any pics yet but there will be soon

just hope that insurnace gives you a no fault accident report. being 18 and having an accident, plus being a guy is bad news for your premium if they dont.

glad everything is alright, cars are repairable.. people are harder

Did you flip out on the stupid woman? I hate soccer mom drivers, they are the worst. I would have gone berzerk on that lady.

I would have flipped out on that lady. People like that should not be able to procreate.

Same ones who let their kids come in and b*tch about everything at Target or Wal Mart. **** off, seriously. They should neuter all those people.

Really sorry to hear about such a crummy day for you, Killer_TC. Your insurance should be fine, from the sound of it no one there disputed what happened or at least in anyway that you were at fault. The minivan and the Escalade may argue over who was going too fast and who should've not pulled out but that's about it.

As for your tC, man that hurts cause it doesn't always feel the same after an accident. I hope yours feels good as new again after the repairs. Also, if you really feel it was the ladies negligence you can even see about suing for some punative damages. Just because I'm against it in general, don't go overboard, but you deserve some compensation for having to be without your tC while it gets fixed, not to mention the loss of resale value that it'll now have.

Good luck man.

The foster home thing is a terrible idea that will ruin the baby for life and its not the babies fault

No need for you to go out on a limb. Sounds like she's already making some attempts at doing it herself. :?

Glad everyone could walk away. At least you can claim the moral high ground on this one. Any word on whether the SUV was exceeding the speed limit?

Good luck... though I could think of less expensive ways to get the scratches on the doors repainted. ;)

oooo i just got the call on the estimate for my car... the insurance guy said i needed a new bumber, new fender and fender rail, new headlight, new hood, and new injen cai, and that all added up to about 4,000... sum where around that.. and he said its a 22 hour job.. and my baby should be done the week after Thanksgiving.. so i still will have a lil time to rip on it before i put it away for the winter.

see, this is why its always nice to have someone bump into you after a few years so that you can freshen up the car a little

glad you're ok though! Stupid soccer moms. And to think that they actually bother bossing other people around... I've been teamed up on by several soccer moms in their humongous tanks, I mean, SUVs (they don't even know each other!) telling me to move out of the way in an illegal fashion to let another soccer mom in with her slushie BMW. Please. I just stayed there.

Maybe I should've pulled out the good ol' American bird.
