What happened to the one touch seat position memory?
I didn't even realize this until the co-worker who had interested me in the tC mentioned it the other day, but on wanttc.com "Driver's Seat One-Touch walk-in Track and Seat Angle Memory" is listed as a STANDARD Feature. My tC sure doesn't have it? Did I get taken or is this gross false advertising?

Yeah when I first heard about this feature I was expecting the seat memory that my friend's 2004 Maxima has. You walk in, put the key in the ignition and the seat position changes to your settings, even the steering wheel tilts automatically!
Then again, his car was $30,000.

Cause it's never exactly right whenever you do it yourself, and why do it yourself when Scion put it in for us.
If you're so against lazy people, why don't you just ditch the car and walk, or take up cycling.

Heres how it works:
Driver Side Full Memory:
Release seat forward by using the lever on the top of the seat. It will slide forward. It will only return back to the original position if you push the bottom part of the seat back first, then lift the seat back forward.
Passenger Side Half Memory works the same way. Push the bottom part of the seat back first but the seat back will stop at a straight up position. Unfortunately, you have to adjust the seat back before you get back in the front seat.
I do not know why Scion/Toyota didn't just do both seats this way. I don't forsee it costing that much more.

It has nothing to do with someone driving your car and going back to your settings. This feature only works when someone gets into the backseat so that you don't have to do alot to get your comfort back.
It would have to been nice to see all power seats in the tC as an option or maybe even leather, bet hey, it wouldnt be a $16,500 car then, would it? After owning one for a while, there are a lot of things I cant think that I would like to change or make different. You know that they say this car was built for sound because of the stock Pioneer system. The factory door speakers can barely handle bass, and im sure that most of us here at least I, like to crank up the tunes, and in the tC I cant because the speakers sound like there gonna blow. But they will be getting replaced soon anyway. I know that many would call it complaining, but there are many other cars in the same price range that have better stock systems, but they dont claim thier cars are built for sound.
to the original poster.. it's not really a one-touch.. more like a one handed pull.. for that memory seat.. and it's just so that if someone gets out of the backseat, the driver wouldn't have to re-do the whole seat..
and yeah i agree about the radio.. i've had to turn the bass down to prevent the speakers from being overloaded.. well when i can i'll replace the speakers with some aftermarkets.. but i will say that their system is much better than some stock civic radio setups..
