Default What I can do with automatic Scion TC?

Is there anything I can do with this car being automatic? I really want to supercharge this car but I herd there are some problems with some people and the fact that its automatic it really dosnt do much or so I have been told. Also can you install a cold air intake with the TRD supercharger and do headers get rid of your cars warrenty?

Well I know you can Install all the things you mentioned. Except if you get a supercharger you can not install a cold air intake from any of the companies that make them. You have to fabricate something up. Headers only void the warrenty if they are the things that caused the problem

well the supercharger didnt produce the numbers us auto guys were thinking, and we all knew it wasnt going to give us alot either. IMO, i would go with i/h/e and a pulley. You should get a nice kick in power with it.

I just want to say that this statement is wrong. It doesn't matter if the headers caused a failure or not. As long as it is not the OEM header, it will void the Supercharger warranty.

As for the original poster, your automatic tC will not likely be as fast as it could if it were a manual, but if you want a faster ride and maintain your warranty, you can always supercharge it. You will get a faster car than before and it will satisfy a little of your power hunger. Just don't expect to have an Evo or STI out of the supercharger.

and here come the idiotic remarks once again.
I'd like to use a quote here that would fit perfectly.

automatics shift way faster then manuel, put a turbo on it with automatic trans cooler and a bunch of gauges to monitor everything and ur set. Only problem is that it will cost over 5k to have it fully tuned and installed

The Speed limit is 65 in Arizona and my TC already does that and more. Honestly none of us here are ever gonna amount to any race car driving. So just put some nice rims and ICE in it. Make sure the scum don't key or steal it and avoid racing people in traffic. Seriously if you wanted a fast car. You would not have bought a Scion.

rims and ice are nice for an auto...i wouldnt really waste my money buying turbo or supercharger for an auto not unless you shift your auto manually which is pretty wierd IMO....so yea i would say rims and some other cool visuals and your practically set, but if you like to add a turbo for your auto by all means go for it!

With a stock street transmission, not really true. Go for "trick shift" type autos, then yes. But throw in a few curves (what I like to call a "race") and a manual will probably win, given two equivalent cars with the only differing factor being tranny.

hmm... well... do as the xBs and xAs do.... make a show car... not a race car..

but yea... an automatic does have potential.. it just usually costs alot more to bring it out.
