Default What mada you pick your color TC?

I know I am full of questions tonight but I need to tell them a color so they can try a dealer swap when they get in there next shipment. What made you pick the color TC you own?

I thought (and still do) that the Flint Mica was the best. Already had a black car. Nice color just hard to maintain. Like the Silver Streak but seems like 1/2 the cars out there are that color.

Default Pretty Colors

My wife! I wanted the Flint Mica, cuz its a really intersting color up close, but my wife wanted the azure pearl, which to me seemed a little too "girly" so we compromised and went with the indgo ink, it's dark enough to be sweet, and blue so my wife likes it.

*It's gonna be my car anyway... (just don't tell her that).

I went with black, because I think it looks classy and amazing when they are clean hehe. And I ordered these rims, cause I always wanted a black car w/ dark rims and a polished lip

I went with silver because it's easy to keep it looking clean, it helps reduce the heat (I live in south central Texas) and I thought it looked nice.

First off, id say try to see as many of the color choices IN PERSON (preferably outside on a sunny day) before finalizing your choice. But here are my humble opinions on the scion color options:

Black Cherry
: a very very RICH dark red color. looks much better in person. Seems almost sophisticated, for some reason id feel like i was driving an Oldsmobile or something.
Silver: I dont know, but the all black window roof just doesent do it for me when paired with silver. Seems to interrupt the flow of the car. thats just me though, i havent heard anyone else complain about this.
Azure Pearl: Eeeh... looks like a giant popsicle. Although i heard its the least produced color, so thats good if you like the exclusivity of it.
White: ugk, NEVER been a fan of white cars. If youre going to work overtime on keeping a car clean, at least go with black. It just looks sharper, and over time if black filth cakes it self to your car, at least it wont be such a stark contrast as with white.
Flint: Heres another color i didnt like until i saw it in person. On a sunny day the "pearl" aspect of the paint really makes this car look swank.
Indigo: Internet shots dont do justice to the richness of this color as well. The only reason i didnt go with indigo is because my brother has a similar color Integra, plus the fact that if im going to be keeping a dark car clean, my as well be black.
Black: black is the sharpest color for any car and no one will ever change my opinion of that.

For me it was between silver and white. My last car was black and I spent way too much time worrying about swirl marks and water spots so I knew I wanted a light color.
The silver looks very sleek. Shows the lines nicely and goes real well with the interior.

I talked to the dealership today and was told unless I wanted to wait 3 month for a special order I kinda have to pick what ever comes off the truck, So they told me to have 2 or 3 ideas of paint that I might want
Flint Mica
Black cherry Purl
Indigo ink pearl

I think those colors would go good with wheels like these

I chose White cuz it was the next best color IMO for the tC.

I intially ordered Black Sand Pearl... cuz I like dark cars. However, upon seeing the BSP in person, I was abit disappointed with the goldish tone in the black paint..made the car look like dark gray. Also the front end looked too plain cuz there was no contrast of any kind with the grills...

Flint MICA seems to be a popular color..but I don't like the Green Tint it has.

So I chose white. Traditional, simple and clean. And most of all..it's JDM color ..hehe.

I like the fact you can clearly see the dark glass top from the contrast ... and the body line is very visible ... simply put...anything goes with white.

yeah..it's lowered with GoldLines prototype springs. The actual production line will be available end of September or early October. The production ones will be abit lower and stiffer ... and very affordable. Great quality ride and looks!

How low is it? I was thinking 1 1/2 in lower than stock running 18in wheels.

The GoldLine production line will be 2" drop all around... and 18s should be perfect with the 2" drop... it shouldn't rub at all. I'm planning to run 19s shortly... and it is my understanding that 19s will not rub either.
