^^^ yea i agree, i really dont like the up-coming style. I would say use the tc as a daily driver and the STi as your weekend toy!!

hmm

thats an idea but parts for the STI are so damn expensive... but they are worth it. an exhaust (turbo back) and $600 tuner gives you roughly 30+ hp to the wheels! but thena again all that costs roughtly 1500-2000 bucks

and im goin to be workin at a dealership, and goin to school full time for autobody, so ill have the ability to give both (if i get both) cars a sick paint job for about 500-700 bucks

like what?

i work at a subie dealer so i can get myself a good deal on it, and so far this is the only car that i would like.

i was gonna get a 350z but id like to settle down with my gf and you cant have a family and a 350z at least the STI has 4 doors and great safty ratings, which is why i would get that and build the tC

so its either the STI or the 2.5l turbo Legacy

i would either...

trade the tc in and get the STI.. no sense in paying 2 insurances and 1 car payment ..(waste of money for other shiz)

or if you want both cars...

mod the tc and boost it..and use the sti as a daily.. why?? because STI parts are way more money then tc parts.. pls if the STI ever blew you still have a boosted car to play with or vise/versa.... either way haveing 2 300 hp cars 1 reliable and 1 the beater is greater then just having 1.. just keep in mind were your money in the long run is better suited..

i personally would just keep 1 car with 1 insurance.. and waste the rest of my money on a house, extra toys, and hoez.. or in my case.. me and my wifey.....and more mods for the 1 car lol

thats a good way to look at it pete. after doin more math and stuff ( i know i can afford the payment, plus the insurance i would get a multiple car discount) i figured i could get myself a good deal on the STI, a good trade in for the tC and pay LESS for the STI that i would be paying for a new tC :D

Why don't you do both? I mean basically build both of them up to your tastes and wants, but stagger it so you always have something to drive.

because if i got the STI one of the 2 cars would remain stock, so i can focus on the other and do it right and not have to worry about money, plus pete has a point why build 2 cars (or even 1) when i could be saving for a house or engagement ring

Very true But if I had stupid amounts of money, I mean STUPID amounts, I'd do stuff like that. Heck, I'd get a new RV, get the motor built, turn it into a twin turbo diesel, spray a 150 shot of nitrous in it, while having it purge out of the sides of the headlights....all on a custom race air suspension. Think how funny that would be...roll up to a random import at a light with a fart can, drop the ride height 4 inches, purge onto their car, then beat them off the light.....hehe I know I dream and that would be stupid, hence the need for silly Bill Gates style bank accounts

trust me when i say this..

MOD 1 car..

and save money for a house bro.. in the long run you will thank yourself because your house is an investment.. not the car.. you will always WIN with a house and never loose money especially the way housing costs are skyrocketing..

big nice house with pool and hot hoez > a fast car and no place to screw in comfortabley...

the 15k+ your going to waste can be used for a down on a house.. and in a few years you can always get a home equity loan or resell the house and make a HUGE profit.. with a car lol your lucky if you can break even lol.. which in most cases you never will lol

Yeah, engagement rings can be expensive, more than I thought they would be for a small ring with some diamonds on it...

IMO, i would pay off the tC and then sell it as a private party...because you will get a lot more for it. Then use the cash as a down payment for the STi and make ur monthly payments a lot lower and maybe put a little of the cash towards the house and ring
