What should i do?
well i have a 2000 Acura 3.2tl with 91k miles im considering trading it in for a tC w/ a bunch of options but i found this nice 5speed bmw 3 series convertible 2002 w/ 41k mile, now my dilemma is that i enjoy my car being a sport luxury car with a lot of power to back it up and the 3 series and me are at a tie for speed and the bmw has got a lot more luxury, now im headed into the corporate world soon and i dont want people to look at me as a kid anymore b/c i dont get that when i drive the Acura and i dont want to be looked at as like a kid driving a kids car b/c some people consider the tC a kids car i know i don't but it might affect me sometimes...what should i do???
Before you spend time worrying that your car will cause people not to perceive you as an adult, maybe you should learn to express yourself like an adult. Punctuation was invented for a reason. Being able to write clearly and effectively will go a lot further in making people perceive you as an adult than what kind of car you drive.
That said, buy whatever you like the best. Don't worry about what people will think. Any of the three cars would be perfectly suitable. You could just stick with the Acura, and of course the BMW would be fine too. But don't count out the tC -- it's hardly a kids' car. In fact, all the tC owners I know are adults. It's an excellent value, and if you buy one even though you could potentially afford a BMW, it shows fiscal responsibility. The only people who might judge you negatively for it (presumably because they think it's not cool because it's too inexpensive) are people whose opinions don't matter.

I agree if you live life wondering what people are going to think of you or what you do, then you’re going to live a worrisome life. I say go for whatever makes you happy. You’re the one going to be driving the car everyday, not the people who are going to be looking at it.
Test drive each one and see which you prefer better, and go with what YOU like. I know I did, and I can care less what people think about my tC I am happy with it and that’s all that matters.
Just as a side note. people tend to judge the person driving the car by their attitude, so if you act like a kid they are going to see you as one. I think it's hard to judge someone and how they act by what they drive.
