Default What should I do?

Please Note: I'm not looking for a "You can't have everything" answer.

I have an AUTO 2006 FM. I'm not too pleased. I had an AUTO 2003 V6 Mustang before it. I had tons more fun in the Pony. I don't want an AUTOMATIC ever again.

I want a Super White tC in MANUAL w/ TRD S/C and Kaminari kit. I recently wanted a Polar White xB and was only offered 15,500 for my tC. And I have a lot of ____ in my tC. No way am I going to trade in my tC plus 3K just to get the same car in a different color and manual.. or should I?

Or I could just spend a couple hundred and get a MANUAL xB. I just want something sexy in white with a stick. Haha.

Please help. Thanks guys.

Swapping transmissions is going to cost MUCH more than $1000.

Sell the tC privately, and take the hit with how much you lose in depreciation.

Parting out the goodies may help bring in some money too..

However, youre probably going to have to take the hit in the pocket somewhat if you want a new manual tC. Have you thought about buying a used tC?

I agree with TQT, going private party has yielded some really good results with more modded cars... I sugget that and taking the money and going back into the tC world... you'll take a loss, but if you want power, go for the tC, unless you want to T/C the xB.

HAH, I just laughed. You said you had fun in your Mustang and you're not having fun in your tC... so you're going to switch to an xB?????

I'm driving my 03 Mustang right now because I commute a TON to college, it's the V8 model - and I'd take my Auto tC over it any day.

I'd also like to chime in and say keep your tC. You're 18 y/o. You live and you learn. Don't waste your money just because you made a "bad decision." Do it right the next time - I guarantee you you'll buy other cars in your lifetime.

When guys are 18, they make stupid mistakes; it's a given. So sell it, buy what you really want, and then a year later you'll get tired of it, and want the '08 all new Scion model or new Camaro or Civic sedan Si, or Tundra, etc.
I was 18 once, and yes I made stupid mistakes too.

I think you should wait a year for a new Tc.
Maybe they might come out with a different car.
Who knows.
But if you just want something white and stick NOW, then do what you want.
I personally totalled my 5 speed IIP tc, and then bought a auto NBP Tc.

Wait a couple of years and see what else comes out. I was really stoked when the TC came out and I bought one right away. I complained about no wheel controls, and what do you know they put them on the next year.

If you can't wait, make sure you test drive a couple of different cars. Because you should have known if you liked driving the TC before you bought it.

my first response is make sure you are financially stable to take the hit if you sell/trade your tC. I thought about it long and hard and decided that the switch from tC to xB would be worth it, but then again Im 22, graduated from college, and have a good job.

also, makes sure your not going to change your mind 3 months down the road and want another car, or more specifically the new xB thats coming out in the Spring.

and if your not satisfied with the power of the tC, then dont get the xB. The xB is def not as slow as people think, but it def isnt fast. It has pep but you need to get o the gas to get it moving. I also took this into consideration but I am going t/c or s/c in the spring so that should solve any power issues I may have.
