i hate people who just wreck new cars because they can... i guess they are just jealous.. im new but i wanted to tell you about my story.. well i was out with my friends.. we caught a movie at muvico around 9.. parked my car in the lot and when the movie was done i came back out.. noticed that a piece of my car was on the floor.. someone hit/tore/broke my left side mirror (not just the morror.. the whole thing).. it was dangling by the wires with the exterior casing popped out on the floor.. there are huge scratches in the paint from i guess from when they broke it off and hit the car.. i was really shocked.. didnt expect someone to do that of course.. so i was just wondering what to do and how much do you think it would cost to get it all fixed.. i would post pics but i dont have access to a digi camera.. lets just say the whole mirror was broken off, hanging by the wires.. there are minor dings and deep scratches along my door from where it hit.. and the connection for the automatic mirror adjustment was broken off.. i guess a positive to this was my blinker in the side mirror still lights up?.. sorry for the rant.. just wanted opinions..

Ask the theathers to review their video tapes. Find the suckah that did it and punish him. In the mean time make sure u use hand signals while turning left.

You shouldn't take your car to the movie theaters. Your car is a sitting target for people that exit the movies. After people watch a movie, they get crazy.

...anyways. So im driving on the highway and some jackass decided to change lanes and didnt see me. He didnt damage my car much...but bc the mirror sticks out the farthest................you get the picture. He knocked out my left mirror....

A replacement was a little less than 300 bucks and took forever to come in...I mean I didnt pay for it but still. Cheer up, youre not the only one hehe.

i know exactly how you feel.

one night after getting off work... i come to my car.. which had SPIT dripping all over the side of it. windows, door handle, fender... everywhere. it was disgusting. why all the hate? i never did anything to anyone.

 

I have a spit story ... Driving to work one morning behind this guy, he decides to spit out his window and it hits my car!! I was like ewwwwww!! At that moment I wish I had something to throw at him

 

damn dude, if someone spit on my car I'd be so ____ed. I think thats disgusting, male spit would make me gag if it were on my car. I dunno how i'd clean it off. I guess I'd just have to take it to a touchless car wash. But I'd be scared that wouldn't clean it off thoroughly enough, especially not behind the door handle. So I'd never touch that part of my car again, which means I wouldnt be able to get into my car unless i wore a glove or something. Ahaha i'd have to either walk around wearing a michael jackson glove all the time or just climb in through the passenger side, ohhh or maybe through the sunroof , that'd be fun. Damn I'm bored.

I had to replace my side mirrors because I wrecked it and it was very easy to do. About 15minutes. Just unscrew it and put in the new one. Bought it for $160 at mcgeorge.com

 

i got mine replaced for $80 installed at the dealer

 

no, but tehre is an alarm that will shoot a flame out from under your car. I bet people will think twice about spitting or ripping mirrors off
