hey guys im looking to make my car super fast but im not sure witch way to go i think im leaning more towards the supercharger then the turbo. what do u guys think what would give me more power but yet keep it a daily driver. i don't know much about superchargers but know a great deal about turbos. also if i go turbo how many psi can i go safely ?

 

I'd say get a turbo, and get it tuned for a Daily driver, like dont boost at High psi and get all of the other materials tuned as well.

I think its safe 6.5-8psi not sure if im correct.

if you want a daily driver, go supercharger, especially if you like that warranty, otherwise, turbo, i voted supercharger just because the tC isn't a sport coupe, it's an econo coupe.

 

A turbo would pretty much be the best thing if you are looking to get at least another 100hp out of our engine.....you could run it in between 6-9psi and you should be fine.

The supercharger doesn't cut for me...too much $$ for nothing.

Yeah i feel the same turbo all day. The superchargers great if you wanna keep your warranty in tack, but even at that i've heard a lot of people getting screwed because they redlined or shifted to high ect.

2k for the supercharger, 500 installed, warranty, toyota takes care of everything

3.3k+ for any *complete* turbo, 250+ whp, no warranty, cost of tuning + more routine maintenance and keeping your eye on exhaust leaks and such.

turbo for max power. supercharger for everyday living. If you want to go super fast, get another car. The price you'll pay to make your tC streetable with a turbo and go super fast and not break is probably way more than most people with tC's can afford.
You got turbo, LSD, accompanying tranny mods, motor mods, suspension mods, brake mods (you do want to be able to slow down right?), wheels and tires (no 225 or 235 will NOT cut it).... I'm probably missing a few things.......
