hey i am getting a new scion and i know there is a post but i just need opinions on what to get. personally i want to get a manual tC but most likely im getting an automatic so with that in mind, im getting a nautical blue tC. but my problem is what options i should get. i have around $19500 budget not including the tax i have to pay for the car. i'm getting the ground effects kit and the muffler and i was just wondering if i should get either the pedastal spoiler, the TYC lights, or the fog lights. with just the muffler and the ground effects kit, it totals up to 19150 so i just want to know what do you guys think would look better because to me, i cant pick which one. thanks guys for your help

 

gfx is alright, you could get it for cheaper online and then install yourself though. forget the trd exhaust if you ever plan on opening up the rest of the piping (it gets too loud). I'd save the extra money and get some springs and tint it :-D

 

buy it bare and do it yourself...but i would suggest none of those options. pedastal spoiler not my style although some ppl like it, tyc's i don't like either, and foglights you can install yourself and save the money, same goes for the oem gfx kit.

 

well between those 3 options it would be the spoiler or the foglights. I personally dont like the TYC tails.

 

Get the ped spoiler...it goes well with the ground effects kit. That's what I would do.

 

Agreed. I've always been a functional type of guy. Get bare bones, 5speed. Get some aftermarket wheels/tires (Nothing Shiny Please) intake, strut tower, and sway bars. That will give you a good start.

 

I bought it bone stock and am now where I am at... you don't want to buy the TRD exhaust... there are better ones out there... but I would buy the effects kit at the time of sale, as it's cheaper than buying it seperate and getting it installed later... (It's around 900 shipped if you buy it later)

EVERYTHING else you mentioned, you can save money on and get later.
