Default What is up with TC drivers.

Why is it when another Tc driver pulls up he acts like he has something to prove. I had one jerk today tailgating me and chirping his tires when he was behind me. I am not a slow driver either. Then the other day I was getting gas and this blue tC starts blaring his stock radio and reving his exhaust then peels out. What are they trying to prove. I know how the car drives and behaves since I have one. Ok I feel better now.

Its not about Tc drivers, its about average Tc drivers. No offense but I bet cha most scion TC and Xb owners are 25 and younger. Thats the reason why they pay so much for insurance

Scion says the average age for a Scion buyer is 33.

That said, any kid with a coup that has a little *****, and even
less sense is going to flex his imaginary car muscles.

Those are generally the same ones that you'll hear about
rear ending someone or sliding off the road in bad conditions
and trashing the car daddy bought them.

Eventually most of them grow up.

I can say, that every Scion I've seen with a ScionLife sticker
in the window has been very cool with a smile and a wave
and pretty decent drivers all.

They should never be hot ******* as that is how people get hit and hurt. Not paying attention to what there doing.

If I see another SCION owner, TC, XB or XA I give them a wave. If they see it great, if they don’t or don’t want to be noticed, that’s OK to. Truckers wave, bikers give the low down, it depends on how people feel about there rides and what level they wish to participate at.

Everytime I go out, I normally just give a peace sign or thumbs up kind of signal. I don't pull up next to other tC owners and rev up the engine and non-sense like that. As someone earlier mentioned, its almost like the older Harley owners with the hand salute. Just a hello, sweet ride type of thing. I find it kinda cool when I pass another Scion and they do the same to me. Just a cool thing i suppose. Others may differ.

Just my nickel...

Here in San Fran we pretty much ignore each other. I do check out their car everytime I see one. But I don't bother to wave or even smile, unless, of course, a really hot chick is in it, or they smile first. But weird, I have never had anybody who come up to me and rev, or see anybody act stupid so far. I guess it might just be an "age" thing, instead of the car.

True-If I see another tC coming my way or next to me, I'll throw up the "peace" sign. If peeps are trying to race you, take it as a compliment. I notice more peeps doing stupids things (engine rev, squealing tires, etc.) after modding my car. I believe they're just jealous because my tC looks mo betta then their stock tC I just let'em pass and go on my way.

hmmm lil different down here in bayou country (baton rouge, la)

The fellow tc'ers i meet on the road have friendly gestures back in foth with their car.

Examples: On the interstate i was next to another flint mica and we were jus ____ing off with each other... passing one another up. At an intersection next to one another at a light, we both rared up but took off normally and gave each other the nod. I even get waves or flashing lights from other scion owners not just tc's. Sorta like the jeep thing jeep owners do.

hell with that attitude...why even bother posting on this board? I mean, whats the difference between talking to random people you don't know at all, and waving to some guy that has the same kind of car you have?
