What were your other choices?
I'm wondering to those who got the tC, what other vehicles did you look into getting?
I put my deposit down for my tC and waiting for it to arrive. there were a few cars i had in mind.. but in the end it was the mazda3 that was gonna get my business. main things that impressed me was the look.. look..look.. hehe .. also the radio controls on the wheel and manual mode on the auto trans. i was looking into a company discount from my brother's work but in the end, the price was about the same as the tC but the tC offered more features and their dealer was a mile away compared to 14 miles away. and you can't beat toyota's reliabilty record.. my family grew up on toyotas. .. for me all i needed was keyless entry, a/c, power windows n locks.. i dint need an mp3 player, panoramic roof, abs, 17' wheels.. but y the heck not? hehe

The Subaru WRX and the Jetta GLI 1.8t were the only cars that I had on my mind for months and then I saw the tC and opted to pay less for it because of college. If money was not a factor, however, I would have easily chose the WRX or GLI.

Those were my other choices , and yeah your right , TC is a lot cheaper thats why I'm going with it. tC is the best "Bang for the Buck" car.

WRX, Celica GT-S, '01 preowned Prelude, Corolla XRS, Mini S, RSX-S, TSX, Forester 2.5XT, and the SI.
Finnally decided I wanted the Rex till I found out they have horrible trans. Some guys had their trannies go'n only after 5000 miles or so. Decided that the Celie looked pretty good. :D Got my Celie couple weeks ago. I love it.
I would have gone for the tC cept I have a thing against sunroofs. :?

couldn't decide between a G35 6 MT, a STi or a GTO so i opted to save my money and get a tC instead. it's going to be a road warrior anyway, i didn't want to ruin a nice car by driving 2000 miles a month

Yeah, I'm considering a Bentley GT and the Scion tC. Wait a second, I can't afford...er, I mean I choose not to spend that much for the Bentley. Oh well, I guess I'll get the tC.

those are some heavy hitter choices.. if ihad money id get the rx-8 simply cuz it was my fav. superhero's car .. ehhe

me too, i was about to get a wrx... but opted for a tc instead...

I'm still trying to decide between an RX8, GLI, tC or a RSX-S..
I figure with a turbo the tC's pretty close in price to the rsx and gli, then the RX8 would problably mean waiting till my 25th birthday so i can handle the insurance, and i'm pretty sure i dont want to drive a sentra that long...
