Default What would you do?

My dealer goofed. They put a Hotchkis strut tower bar on instead of my TRD sway bar. Anyone think I should just leave it on and forget about the sway bar for now?

no. I'd demand my sway bar. If they want to take the strut bar off they are welcome to, or they could give me a super discount/free.

I think you should get the sway bar... the sway bar should make a bigger difference in your cornering than the strut bar...shouldn't it be more expensive, too? Also, the install for the sway bar is much more elaborate...SWAY, not STRUT.

Actually the sway bar is $165 and the Strut bar is $225. Out of honesty I am going to return it and get the sway bar. Still it's irritating.

installing the rear sway was super simple. from getting all my tools and gooing up the bushings. it took a grand total of 40 mins or less to install it. most of the time was used to remove the stock unit. man, it was a pain maneuvering out. and also got cut from one of the brackets. doh...

if i were you. i would tell them to give me the rear sway bar i paid for. and also, if you want the strut bar. ask for a discount because of the trouble you had to go through by coming back to the dealership to get your sway bar that should of been installed. best of luck :D

Both sway and strut bars are in $150-160 range if bought online from http://www.mcgeorgeparts.com or the likes, both installs are easy. Strut bar install does not require laying in the dirt under your car, though...
