Okay,

I'm curious to see what kind of parts people may be interested in making glow in the dark on their scion interiors.

I know it's a bit out there, but I work with some pretty cool materials at work. (particularily industrial grade green and blue glow in the dark materials.) This isn't the crap kind of phosphorus that glows for 10 minutes and dims out. It's industrial grade materials that are used for emergency exits and the like, it glows for over10 hours or so. I've been kinda fascinated by the stuff, and was trying to think of other uses for it.

I was curious to see what parts/trim/accesories/whatever people would like to see glow in the dark on their interiors. And maybe even produce some prototypes if there is enough interest in certain parts.

Don't flame me, or tell me it's stupid, or rice. I don't really care about those types of opinions. To each their own.

Some people love the TYC lights on the tC others don't.

 

hmm...kinda perplexing if you ask me because you can't really replace the seats or cloth with that type of material so that leaves the center dash and the side walls of the inside of the car. I would have to say one thing that it might be cool on would be the center dash piece poissibly make that glow in the dark material because the whole dash might be a little to much.

Condidering that is longer than the average night (unless you live in alaska), then why would you want more? Unless of course you were just being sarcastic.

um, i couldn't think of anything inside. i kinda like it dark in the car .

but, a glowing scion emblem, i would rock that.

 

I would rock a glowing Scion Emblem too, if it were smaller than the ones on the xB (which are HUGE) I would like all the silver pieces to be converted into that ie: the switch plates, around the shifter (auto) stearing wheel, and maybe the plastic around the dome light, but mainly the switch plates, cuz they are hard to find at night when you want to roll down your window and hit on someone, especially if your window is tinted. OR just an xA, xB, or tC emblem, regular size. cool!

 

Honestly, I can't think of anything on the inside of the car that I would want to glow...

Combine this stuff with a Black Light somewhere that shines on it, and you're talking a pretty psychadelic interior...

 

I was just thinking the same thing.... then you could like cover the pedals with that stuff, and wrap the shifter... freaky.

A glowing engine cover would be tight, and maybe even some plastic trim pieces in the engine compartment. my .02
