Hey guys I own a 2007 Scion TC and I was wondering how much do you think my car is worth.
2007 Scion TC (Classic Silver Metallic)
5 Speed Manual
69,000 Miles
Clean looking car
It has:
18' Super7Spoke Rims with brand new Hankook Ventus V12 P225/40zr18 tires.
Ground Effects Kit
Rear Spoiler
Foglights
HKS Hi-Power Axleback exhaust
New 05-07 headlights
Painted Mustang Blue Engine Valve Cover, radiator support and battery tie down!
Carbon Fiber B-Pillar Applique
New TRD brake pads
Ingalls Stiffy
Tinted windows
K&N drop in filter
Blue and White Interior LED Dome lights F/R
Pinstripes down the side of the car done by dealership, looks sweet
New Denso Spark Plugs
TRD Rear Sway Bar
New windshield with Blue Tint at the top, looks sweet. Had it replaced due to a little crack in the windshield. Less then 2 weeks old!
And a couple other minor things I cant quite remember lol!
Im just trying to see what its worth for poop and giggles! I still owe close to 14 grand on the car, and summers coming so I might trade it or sell it for a Vette!
Thanks guys

2007 Scion TC (Classic Silver Metallic)
5 Speed Manual
69,000 Miles major hit in depreciation, as 07-09 (10 just started, this tells me you've driven the car 23k miles a year. which is nearly twice the avg annual mileage of a car.
Clean looking car
It has:
18' Super7Spoke Rims with brand new Hankook Ventus V12 P225/40zr18 tires. 0 dollars, all cars need wheels and tires to function
Ground Effects Kit: 0- half the value of the ground fx kit, is purely cosmetic and does not add value
Rear Spoiler 0-half value of the spoiler, cosmetic, no value
Foglights half the value of new OEM foglights since extra lights are functional
HKS Hi-Power Axleback exhaust 0 value mods to not make a car more value and since taste varies from person to person, they might hate it and want to pay less.
New 05-07 headlights 0, no matter how new they are, they can't add value, only subtract value if they are damaged in some way, also, the car needs these to be street legal anyway.
Painted Mustang Blue Engine Valve Cover, radiator support and battery tie down! 0 value, infact, possibly negative depending on the quality of the painting, if it looks like poor quality and it is likely to chip and start looking like garbage, it will subtract value.
Carbon Fiber B-Pillar Applique quarter value of cost for new, cosmetic
New TRD brake pads hmmm...provided they were properly bedded in and not making squealling noises, i'd say half value of installed price, less if they squeak.
Ingalls Stiffy 0 value, actually subtract value as this shows car has been used for drag racing, and will also make entire car shake more, making it more annoying to drive.
Tinted windows half value of price installed, assuming it is street legal and no bubbling, cracking peeling.
K&N drop in filter 0 value, it is just a drop in air filter, what does it retail for? 50 dollars?
Blue and White Interior LED Dome lights F/R so long as they're working, 0 value, LED's are dirt cheap and easy to install
Pinstripes down the side of the car done by dealership, looks sweet no, they don't, sorry, pin stripes on the tc is sacrilege.
New Denso Spark Plugs 0 value, car needs plugs to work anyway, stock ones were fine up to 100k miles anyway.
TRD Rear Sway Bar since it is a genuine TRD part, half value.
New windshield with Blue Tint at the top, looks sweet. Had it replaced due to a little crack in the windshield. Less then 2 weeks old! 0 value but atleast it isn't cracked and subtracting value
mods do not add value to a car because the buyer will 1. probably have different tastes than you do about what is and isn't nice on the car. and 2. has no idea how well or how poorly they were installed, and whether or not they'll be picking up pieces of the car as they fall off while driving down the road.
customizing a car is something that you do because you like it and want it, not to try and add value and sell a car for a profit.

Lol wow draxcaliber, that kind of made me laugh! Im glad you love my pinstripes
, there just the tiny little ones that go from fender to fender that are stock on alot of cars. I understand what your saying, im just curious to what I would get seeing as the wheels alone cost me 2,200 from the dealer not including all the other crap that was on there. I guess to part out like people have suggested and put back to stock would be the safest bet to sell this car. "On another note, I do drive alot lol"
Only way to make any money off car is go back to stock, sell your aftermarket parts separate.......even then your 14000 owed is not gonna get covered with the miles on it.....you will take a loss........jsut keep the car and drive it and get more paid off on it and then take back to stock when you have under 5000 left to pay and trade it in,that way you will get your money in time car was used problem free and decent down trading or selling......plus the parts to sell.......
got a point there....hate to say it but no matter how much you invest on the car or put on the car people are gonna look for the KBB value i mean dont get me wrong there could be a person out there willing to pay extra for whats on the car but for the most part a stock tc would sell better....i can put 5,000 worth of rims and tires on my car and if i were to sell the car and im asking a little above KBB value and the buyer wanted to know why and i tell them i have 5,000 worth of rims and tires they would say well there not stock and dont add value

No I've had it since November of 2006... I owe alot cuz the sticker price on the car was 22,000 and then add the 15% percent interest rate I have cuz I didnt have credit at the time and I have never refinanced. It totaled out to almost a 37,000 dollar car with financing lol! Through toyotafinancial under payoff information it says it would take me 13,939.43 to pay it off in one payment.. Sucks major horse *********!
As a heads up. I just traded in my silver 07 stock. But had full leather interior side panels and all and the upgraded head unit for ipod and security. Security and head unit were upgrades from the dealer at the time leather too. 34k miles on it. Had some rock paint damage ect but had snow on it when I went in and they did not notice it. I only got 12k on a trade in. I also got 900 back from my gap and extended warrenty. I owed 15 so I ate some of it on my next loan.
WOAHHHH STICKER PRICE WAS 22k?? GOOD GOD!!! they ____ed you and didnt even kiss you lol thats insane!! my apr is 13% and it was nowhere near that much my car came out to like 15k$ in 05

Do you think I could get 12 grand for my car if I put it back to stock and threw in all the aftermarket/addon stuff for free, so if they wanted they could put the stuff on there themselves or sell it themselves?
