Default What you think?

First off, im not rich at all (have two jobs, go to college, and now bought a 06' tc). I plan on putting a system in, tinting the windows myself with 25% or somewhere around there, and painting the brake calibers. Any other cheap ideas to mod the tC?

If you check out ebay, you can get the OBX ***** and pedals etc. for a lot less than the dealer cost. You can also buy light kits at Auto Zone fairly cheap.

the back window is easy... just shape it on the outside with a hair drier first

Tinting - Go Professional. Let someone else do it, then it's their problem if it doesn't look good.

And for the other stuff that Hot06 mentioned, you can also get that same stuff from places like trdsparks.com and mcgeorgeparts.com. Both have great prices/service on OEM accessories.

Thanks for the ideas so far. As far as tinting goes, im a perfectionist sort of. So my tinting must be perfect. I plan on doing it myself, cuz it sounds real easy. Why was the hatch so hard, b/c its curved?

That, and I'd imagine just because it opens up ^ and not to the side > . So you're kind of attempting to install it upside-down and what not. I've never done it myself, and will personally get it done professionally.

Tinting.... EASY?

If your a perfectionist, invest the cash.... you'll appreciate it just as much if someone else did it. Nothing would tick me off more than a hair or some crap in my tint and if someone else screwed up, no skin off my back, they just fix it.... and at 100-200 for the whole car... that is a cheap mod considering all the others out there.

The last thing I want to see is a Tc with Purple, Bubbly windows like some located in lovely Ghetto rides.

My 2 Pennies.
