Well, I got #1960 about a month ago.

Pretty happy so far.

My only gripe...the rear bumper is rubbing the quarter due to the tight fit; the rubbing has ripped a small piece of paint loose from the bumper. Trying to decide whether to live with it or try to file a warranty claim. Anybody else noticed this issue?

 

Hmmm, I'd file - at least see what they can do with it. I don't have that issue.

Does anyone know the breakdown production wise of auto vs manual.

Also how much of an increase did you guys see in your 2.0 vs a normal TC. My insurance rep told me there will be a difference but I have not finished setting it up just yet.

Also is there any controls on the actual rear sub in terms of gain and wattage put through it just wondering since it is not a decent tone even if you play with all your options. I might put in a inline control so it cuts out the highs.

There should be no difference between the RS 2.0 and a regular tC. If there is with your insurance company, you need to find someone else to insure your car,

I could see how it is a higher cost since the seats would be more costly to replace, side airbags are not cheap to replace, the grills are supposedly high cost items through the dealer as well. The wheels could possibly be more as well since there are less produced in that color.

Anyone else check up on their insurance costs??

I got one and i'm from Glendale Heights, IL. Thats about 30 mins outside of Chicago. Spotted one in the town next to mine. Havent seen it again since. We should try to get together for a cruise.

 

I would think that there would be a DECREASE in insurance between the 2.0 and regular tCs.......
By regular tC, I'm thinking that you mean a tC with no additional air bags. The RS 2.0 has all the airbags, thus making the insurance go down.

I used to drive an 02 Cavalier and my insurance went down by $200 with my tC.

 

i would shift insurance company if that happened to me!!!
