Same thing I'm spending my tax return on, elimination of the last of my credit card debt. If there's some left over, it goes to paying down the home equity loan. I hate the greedy ___ loan companies so much right now it's rediculous. Why do I end up having to pay more or not being able to refinance at a lower rate because someone else defaults due to the lending agencys' bad lending practices? Sorry Georgie and Congress, but $1200 doesn't really make up for housing depreciation losses. Guess by paying down my loans though I'm helping keep the banks afloat.

 

when are people expecting to get them? do you have to apply for it or something? or is it just a random letter in the mail with a check attached?

you should be getting them in May. Goes by the last 4 digits of your Soc #. So if you start with 9, good luck. Also if you get your tax refund via direct deposit. You might get yours as early as May 3rd.
