How many trophies have you guys won?

 

I entered once and in VIP. So none so far.

And unique cars don't win throphies. The ones with most money put in them do.

 

MOney is normally what makes them the most unique, or set apart from the rest of the crowd. on the other side, I know plenty of guys who DUMP money into their cars, but dont win any trophies at shows. They just spend money on the same mods as everyone else...

 

Hmmm that's both true and not true.

I have things on my car I have yet to see on other tCs but I "only" spent 3 k on the car so far (rims/tires included).

At the last show the ones with most money dumped into them won, and believe me.....most of them were far from nice looking cars.

 

I've won a few local, and also got 3rd at Nopi, but that was last year, and I hadn't done much to it.

As far as this being a ____ing contest no one can win, I drank about a gallon of water during lunch, I may have a fighting chance.

All jokes aside, this is all a matter of opinion anyway right?

and hollywood to answer your question, i have about 25 awards. ranging from 1st, 2nd, 3rd, top 10 and best of's (i have one best of show, and one best I.C.E.)

I was just Scion Nationals...and I know a dude w/ at least 15 grand or More dumped into his tC and he didnt Place at ALL!!!......

I think its ALL on what kinda judges there are etc......

I Think my tC is Unique by keeping it Simple and Hella Clean!!!!.....

Can you read? I wrote in the shows i've been to. Am I talking about all shows around the US? No.

typically for shows, its the quantity and quality of what you have done to the car. problem is, when its multiple judges judging, some think differently, and the judging gets messed up IMO. IMO i think one judge should just all one cat., such as scion, honda, chevy, etc.
