I wonder why the tC mode sounds so terrible in the tC! It sounds very low, and the voice is very muffled even when volume is turned up. xA has higher treble, and xB has higher base. The funny thing is, both xA & xB sound better in the tC. Go figure.....

 

i have it on feel... what setting is that? xB?

 

I switched mine to xB and It's tons better. Louder, more clear, cleaner sounding. The tC setting sounds muffled. Also I could turn up the bass without the speakers cracking.

I have it on xA adds more treble, bass at -1 treble at 5 on the feel setting
when I use my iPod and it still thumps loud and vibrates everything ( I also have my iPod equalizer set to treble boost)

I have it on xA, bass at 3 treble at 5 on the feel setting when I use the CD player

My 2 10" subs with the bass bost all the way down still gives enough mix to compliment the higher treble. Great bass, mids, etc.

I had it on xB without the subs, but had to switch to xA after the subs were in so I could hear the song, not just feal it.

But it all depends on what subs, amp, speekers etc. you might have.

xB setting-->SSP Feel---> SRT OFF (on is way too much!)

 

xA Feel setting, bass -2 treble +3. Switch to Hear setting with gf in the car. Sounds great with 1 10" sub. Sounds wayyyyy better than the tC setting.

No, if you hold down the ssp button, it should display car...tC (orsomething like that) you can change the mode by pushing the volume up or down button. We are not talking about the ssp = normal, hear, feel.

 

imo. xa > xb > tc

xa seems to be more clear and crisp....all u xB setters change to xA!!!

If you like bass.. you will switch out the head unit and get an amp and sub heheh

the xb setting sounds 10x better than the others... I think pioneer really likes the xb better!!!!

um... i havn't try to use xB during driving... but when i parked, i think tC is better... just my opinion thou...
or... it may also due to what kind of songs you guys are listening to... but well... the xB is louder... i have to turn up the vol to 40 using tC mode~

 

I checked out the xB setting yesterday, I'm hooked. Thanks for the tip Definitely sounds cleaner. The vocals aren't muffled anymore.

 

i use the xB setting. I think that scio has one of the best factory systems that i've ever heard.

 

I'll have to try the xB setting after work today.

I know w/ mine on tC I have to have the radio up to 40something to have it as loud as I'd like while driving and thought that was a bit loud.
