Default wheel center nut size?

So I'm trying to take off a wheel on my tC, and I took off the five bolts. I then tried to pull off the wheel, but it was stuck. So I popped off the center cap and there's a black 12-sided(?) bolt on the center stud. The biggest socket I have is 1", and it's bigger than that (it's probably metric anyway). Anyone know what size socket I'll need to take this thing off, before I run to the store?

Also, what other socket sizes will I need to do my springs? I only have up to 19mm.

Thanks,

dont pull of that bolt!!! it's for the hub, not the wheel!!

Your wheel is probably just sticking to the hub! Hit it hard and it will unstick!!

Later all

The nut in the center is for your hub. You don't have to take it off if you want to remove your wheels. Try prying your wheel off gently, it is probably stuck on the back.

Thanks guys, you were right. This is what I get for not doing anything more than changing the engine oil anytime in the last 4 years. Well, we all gotta learn sometime.

It looks like two of the bolts I'll have to unscrew are 22mm or so. Time to hit the store.

Thanks,

what.... are you serious.....

the rims are hub centric (read like a cork in a bottle)
you need to pry off the rims.
spin the tire until one lug is right on top.
then using a heavy mallet (or hammer) hit the tire on the bottom (the tire not the rim!!!)
might take a few shots till it pops off. do not touch that nut in the center!!!
