I just got my car from my dealer (and I'm still waiting for the accessories), but they charged me the old $695 for the XM Radio. I know there is a rebate for it, and there was a topic about it, but I searched a few times and couldn't find anything.

If anyone can link me to it, I'll lock the topic afterwards.

 

Its not a rebate. Scion just lowered the price. The only person that can help you now is your salesmen. All dealers can charge whatever they want for accessories. If they didnt lower there price you might be beat. Good luck and let us know how you make out!!

 

Are you sure about that? I DEFINITELY remember a thread on here a month or so ago about how Toyota and XM got in a better relationship and dropped the price, and that anyone who had purchased it at a higher price could get a rebate..

I did that.. and saw that.. that one is only two days old though.. the one I saw was at least a few weeks ago.. no one remembers it?

Call your salesperson or finance person if you financed through the dealer. My sales team initially charged me the old price--but I told them about the price drop and they just found out about it when they looked it up right then. They had no idea. Most of the dealers around here still have the old price on their pricing lists.

Then my financing guy made an error on my contract by $50--originally the plan was just to have a check issued to me, but then I decided to add more options, so they just redid the contract and credited me.

Whatever the case, given that you were just charged the plain wrong price, you should be able to get this resolved at the dealership level without having to wait for the rebate paperwork.

Yea All you do is Call Scion Customer Service @ 1-866-707-2466 and They will tell you what you need. Send it in, and Get your Rebate..I just got mine 2day!!
