Where can i go to go crazy legally??/
I love to drift, do doughnuts, and just have plain old fun after it snows in a empty parking lot or a dirt lot in out in the middle of nowhere. But i've had to many police encounters.
In terms of the law, is there any place in the U.S. where you can go and have fun in your car legally. My neighbor said he went to Bonnevile salt flats to that kind of stuff and never got in trouble, but whether it was allowed, i don't know.
What do you guys know?

yeah, only on your own property, or sanctioned car competition venues.
you can't just go to an empty parking lot and screw around because in lots of states, traffic laws extends to private property that is used publicly.
you should see if there are any autocross organizations in your area.

Ryfly that made no sense. Why post here, when someone in say Maine says OH HEY! heres a place you can go:
Are you going to go to Maine? No.
So you need to post up in your specific Regional Area asking where your fellow COers go to drift and do donuts in their FWD vehicles. If theres none in your area, call it a wash.

Drifting.....Doughtnuts....FWD...sounds fun.
Like you said the roads would have to be slick to achieve what you're trying to do on all season tires.
Like others have said, you posted this in the wrong forum so.....IBTL
But if you do find a place PM me and i'll meet you there.
Even if you did it on your own private property they have these things called noise ordinances and screeching, squealing tires do qualify.
