Drill the holes, then you won't have to worry about the zip tie failing.

well even if i did how would you loop them? there is also more frames inside the holes that are already there and they block access in either direction.

I'm going to try to make this VERY clear....

DO NOT... I repeat... DO NOT just tell someone to go search or click the search button or something equally worthless.

If you're going to go that route, give them an example of what YOU just searched for and point them in the right direction. At the very least, point them to the thread in my sig on HOW to search.

This is getting f'ing ridiculous... if I have to start handing out warnings for this petty crap, I will. And keep in mind, 3 strikes and you're out. At least 3 of you would be getting warnings right now if I did.

I think this is the first thread I have ever posted in, where I wouldn't have been one of the people to get a warning, if warnings were issued.

You're probably right Carbon.

Seriously, this is getting out of hand. Too many people are thinking they already know the answers to everything and can't post up how to help someone so they're cool enough they can just say SEARCH and the gods have spoken. My bet is half the people saying to just SEARCH couldn't even find relevant results... but who knows.

Just shove them in somewhere. My D/S ballast is just sitting around behind the headlight/next to battery/in front of the fuse box and my P/S ballast is just sitting around next to the ABS module . They've been like that since I got my car.

It looked like the guy linked two wire ties together. and then used it that way to get it around the ballast. If that doesn't work, if you go to a local hardware store they should sell really big zip ties that should do the trick. The holes he used were stock holes, they were there on my car when I did my install. I was trying to use them, but didn't. (Because I never thought of zip ties)

Mine are mounted like in that last pic, but I marked and drilled 3 holes for each ballast and then used sheet metal screws to hold them in place. If I get a reason to take my bumper off again, I will take pics.

When I had my bumper off, I didn't see many other options for mounting locations.
