I agree, Crutchfield is the place to go. It's not cheap, but great customer service, usually no tax and free shipping plus free stuff depending on what you buy. It usually offsets the price difference, plus they are an authorized dealer so you have "peace of mind." You get lifetime support on the stuff you buy from them, so if you have a problem, you can call contact them for help for troubleshooting your system.

Best Buy is also another place, but I don't like the customer service that much. It's more like convenience since they are just down the road. Circuit City is a better alternative and usually have better prices, and in my experience, better customer service.

If you are doing eBay, just make sure the guy you're buying from has good feedback and most of them usually offer their own in-house one year warranty since they are not an authorized dealer. You can also get a third party insurance for more peace of mind.

Crutchfield is expensive, i just go to local stores such as Best buy, Frys, or Circuit City.

Woofersetc. And eBay.

Crutchfield is retail over the web. Compare specs there, and buy elsewhere.

I go with ebay. Ill look first at crutchfield though to find out whats good, then buy it new on some ebay shop for like 100 cheaper.

If you dont know what you are doing though, bestbuy is good, they can install the ____ for you when you buy it usually.

They do take longer than most to ship a product. 3 weeks is extreme however. But shipping takes a bit longer because it's free.
