if you want it louder follow these steps-
1.purchase/steal .357 revolver
2.load it.
3.aim .357 at your muffler and pull the trigger.
4.repeat step 3 until satisfied.
5.reload as needed
6.aim .357 at your face.
7.pull trigger.
8.repeat as necessary
i dont usually flame but people like you leave me no choice.
ps: it usually takes a thousand miles or so to "break it in" at which point, you'll notice a difference in sound (gradually)

Very hard if not stupid to modify an exhaust system you had installed...
if you dont like it...get a different one...
I've heard good things about the magnaflow kit...Try that one...

Did you hear a TRD on another tC before you bought yours? I didn't want to wake people up at night so I was fine with noise it puts out. I also didn't want it to sound like a coffee can.
Unless there is something wrong with your exhaust, but you would have to compair it to another TRD tC (to check noise difference).

I don't get the problem though... It's an axel back system. Upgrade your midsection (from the car to the rear section to a 2.25" or 2.5" custom bent from an exhaust shop. That'll add some extra ***** to the trd system haha. I have one also. It's fairly loud though, for an axel back. How many miles on your car? it will get louder...
