Default Whoops, F me

My bro just got a modified exhaust ticket
So he said he was nice to the officer and he said to just go the the Chatsworth court of something, put a silencer in it, and pay the $20 fee.

But I'm thinking getting OEM axleback and keep the Spipe and Midpipe so I still get the gain but don't have the appearance of the modified exhaust. But IDK.

woah they give tickets for that crap?? that sucks dude... i love it here in texas, although it kinda sucks too... here they dont give a crap, which is why we have alot of hondas soudning like lawn mowers and alot of old beat up cars giving off lots of smoke i hate driving behind them gah... but $20 is better than whatever the ticket originally costs lol... i paid $10 court costs for a $189 illegal window tint ticket... all i did was take a picture of a bsp tc at the dealership and took it to the judge telling him i scrapped the tint of my tc lol

im always getting stopped for no front plate, but i give them a sob story of how kids in my neighborhood are always ripping plates off the front of cars and i've reported it into the SAPD line but no one ever does anything so out of fear of losing my plate i put it on my dash, and the cop just says "as long as you have it there its ok".... me 1, cop nothing... lmao... i've gotten pulled over 5 times cause of my plate, and once i told the cop right out that i think the car looks better without the front plate and he looked at the front and came back with a smile saying yea it does and just laughed and told me to be careful...

CA is ftl right now... Sucks big time, slap that stock axleback on, it wont attract any attention. I recently painted everything on my Megan oe-rs flat black so it doesn't attract cops visually. It has worked so far (knock on wood).

I've seen so many posts like this about California. So what's the law there? You can't do "anything" to a car or what? If it's legal to drive something that's getting such horrible gas mileage like a hummer then why does a simple intake matter on a car that gets way more than double the gas mileage?

lol, it's kinda ironic that most aftermarket companies/shops are based out of cali - but then it's pretty much illegal to do anything to your car there.

Now this is what totally chaps my @ss about the "Peoples Republik of Kalifornia". Do they no longer teach Civics in public schools out there? Everything is illegal because you people have allowed the lawmakers to get away with it. Get involved, band together, vote them out! This whole profiling/street racing crackdown/car crushing nonsense is a blatant violation of your Fourth, Fifth and Eighth Amendment rights as guaranteed by The Constitution of The United States of America. Know your rights! The most important elections are not the "popularity contests" that happen every 4 years, the most important ones are your local city council, mayor, and school boards. Those are the people who are going to pass the local laws that affect you the most. Get involved, register to vote, band together, meet with your lawmakers, support SEMA, and fight for your rights.

/end rant.
