there are many factors that went into why i'm getting my tc tomorrow. great reviews, looks, price, features, and trade value for my car. a big factor is it is made by a great company in toyota. they have had proven vehicles for decades.

I will tell you the 3 things that made me get a tC instead of something else;

1. Price.
2. All the Standard Features that are included with the tC.
3. And lastly, looks.

For what you pay, you get A LOT of car! I was lookin' at a Mazda 3 and it just didn't have the features the tC has. At first, I thought my tC was a 'girlie car'. But after a few mods (which was a close 4th in my tally.) It looks much more 'manly' now .

I will have to agree with Hyghgynx.

1. Price.
2. All the Standard Features, which are included with the TC.
3. Looks.

The other car that I was considering was the Mazda 3 but it just didn’t match up to the TC.

1. value
2. looks
3. 2.4L motor
4. there are actually leg room for the back seat drivers
5. new car with warranty

those are my top five reasons. my first choice used to be a ITR, but when i started seeing ad's for the tc. the ITR became a far second.

I didn't like anything else that I test drove (in this price range), and out of all the cars I test drove, they barely had the standard features or power of the tC. The tC is rare (well, helluvalot rarer than my old Cavalier). The car is really comfortable to drive -- it really felt like it was built to fit ME (of course I know this isn't true, but it still fits).

All the reasons stated above...
and plus I went to a car show and a hot blonde was checking out a super white show car that was their, and I overheard her saying the car made her wet.

I'm close to buying a Scion tC (pretty much decided on), but my top preferences went like this:

1) Top Car on my list: Saturn Ion Coupe, sweet! Looks cool to me.

Backup #1: Honda Civic Coupe

Backup #2: VW Jetta

2) Top Car on my list: Chevy Cobalt. Looks even better, good reviews.

Backup #1: Saturn Ion Coupe

Backup #2: Honda Civic

Backup #3: Jetta

3) Top car on my list: Mazda 3. Saw one on the road one day, liked the look and some of the features.

Backup #1: Chevy Cobalt

Backup #2: Honda Civic

4) Top Car on my list: Scion tC. Liked the looks, was blown away by the standard features.

Backup #1: Mazda 3

Backup #2: Chevy Cobalt

See a small pattern here? :p

who looks twice at a honda/mazda/saturn/chevy? not many.
who looks twice at a tC? everyone.

for the base price of $16,800.00 (05), we got a lot of car, and
the resale is gonna kick @$$ compared to many other cars.

it was a no-brainer for me.
