the color red from their color swatches? its my favorite color, and a huge deciding factor if i wanna buy a car or not.

so does anyone know why they took this color out? thanks scion life!

 

that was the RS 1.0 only

 

yeah, every year a scion model is made, there is a special release series model that has a unique color to that model. they are also numbered and badged, and have some unique bumpers grills and exteriors etc.

 

oh really? they should make red standard again.. why so much hate towards red these days. both the tc and rabbit discontinued them. the first out of these two cars to release one in red again, i would buy in a heartbeat..

but, since i doubt thats going to happen soon, im going to look into blue ribbon metallic.

they made it a special color for one year and one year only!

there has been a r.s. model xa, tc, and xb2 in absolutely red. they did it to make it special. if they made it a standard color, it would cease to be special.

they also made r.s. models in special colors like envy green, blitz blue, blizzard pearl, hot lava, stingray blue metallic, gallatic gray, etc. they make it avaliable for a limited number of models. it won't happen again.

so you either have to buy a used rs1 tc, or get a new tc and have it repainted red.
