Hey, go over to neons.org and tell them the neon is ___

I too drove a neon prior to purchasing the tC and I loved my neon. It ran great for me for the entire time I had it. I was just ready for something new. I looked at all the new cars that were somewhere near my price range and I was looking at the srt4, mazda6 and the tC. The SRT was a bit too steep for me, mazda6 was nice but looks wise I loved the tC more than any of them so thats why I chose the tC. It also was a great price for the toyota quality and I think everyone agrees that it is definitly the best buy out there quality:price. I like everything about the Scion idea and just felt that it was the best fit for me.

I bought the TC for many reasons:

-It's a Toyota (need I say more)

-It has more standard features than any car in it's class, and you'd have to pay thousands extra with the competition cars to try to equal it.

-It's much more attractive than any car in it's class. The only car than is good looking in it's class (in my opinion) is the RSX, but I like Toyota better than Honda, and again, it has much more standard features. If I were to get the RSX, i'd get the type S, but then i'd pay $20,000. I'd rather pay $20,000 for a super charged TC, and blow the doors off the RSX-S.

-It's more tha reasonably priced. For what you get, you can't beat it. It's impossible.

-The engine in my 93' Mercedes 300 E blew up

I hear that! I drove two different neons until I got my tC. Both '96. Both didn't have any AC (was broken). Both had bad headgaskets - multiple times lol. I drove the hell out of those cars!

I love my tC!

Oh, that's sad I replaced my Integra GSR because I was always afraid of it getting stolen. So, no more Hondas for me either......

I've owned 3 different Celicas, and my MR2....I have always preferred Toyotas anyways. And its one of very few 3-door hatchbacks on the market.

Its a little more than i want to spend right now =/ ive got a few mounths to decide though, i bought a beater accord to drive around for a few months i have too much going on right now to go buy a car but should be good to go in july / august.. Im pretty impressed with the tc. Im looking for a car i wouldnt be too tempted to heavily modify like i did with my crx. I found a nice white tc at a local dealership with the ground effets and tint. It was very nice.

I had a nice new reasonably fast, modded car, but I wanted a 5-speed and tC was the best bang for the buck.

I was drying a 94 Ford Ranger... yes yes, I know. It wasn't my first choice when I got it, it was the affordable choice at the time.

I got the Scion b/c I loved the style, the options, the quality, and the $$. Good value all the way around. Can't complain one bit.

Everywhere? I guess you probably live in a real "city" ... there is only 1 other that I've actually seen driving around me. And that's still about a half hour away that I saw it.

Default Well ... I want to buy a tC, is that good enough?

Aloha ScionLife MsgBoarders!

My name is Tiare. Currently, I am a Marketing and English double major in my senior year at Mount St. Mary's College.

This semester I am in a Consumer Behavior class researching the reasons WHY people purchase products the way they do. I chose to do my paper on SCIONS since I am in the market myself!

I hope you guys can find the time to give me your 2cents on this topic. I listed some questions below:

1. What features of your Scion are important to you and what is the order of their importance?
2. What needs do you feel your Scion fulfills for you?
3. Did you seek out a great deal of information about it?
4. What influencers were there for you? (i.e.: Family, friends, consumer reports, peers, etc.)
5. If you were to give this product human characteristics (i.e.: gender, lifestyle, age, attractivness, etc.), what would you say your Scion would be?
7. Would you purchase another Scion again after having experianced its use? why or why not?
6. What other models or car companies did you consider in this product category before selecting Scion?

I'd really appreciate this REALLY HUGE FAVOR! And would love to learn more about Scions via this msgboard! See yah around ...

I got the tC because I didn't have a car of my own (was driving mom's camry for two years and she wanted her car back). I was already out of school with a job so I had the money. It was a Toyota, it was affordable, it was a really beautiful car, and I did not want to look at any other car

Because the ex-wife left me with a white on white 95 cabrio and I'm not ___. And, because I loved the looks of it first time I saw it. Oh and I've owned 3 Toyotas in the past and never had a problem.
