Default This is why Im hot:: The ih8civx picture thread

Its been a while since I posted some pics so I got a bunch at the garage tonight.

Im infatuated with carbon, suede, and orange kandy Feel free to love, feel free to hate, and dont hesitate to ask questions. I did all the work on the car minus the body work and paint. All the other parts were installed by myself sometimes with the help of some good friends. The engine is bay, someone hook a brother up with a turbo... The pics are random, the newest ones have the carbon door panels and mirror caps installed along with the a pillars. The car changes every week Its why Im broke

Here are the pics..

He's just waiting on me to install his D3... Love the car, but you already knew that.

Toilet store, good one, Chris. Brick, I thought this was a short-cut. ... The streets will run red with Burgandy's blood!

after looking at it further, you REALLY need wider rims, it looks goofy ... or maybe it's just the angle of your shots...idk

looks much better:

car looks nice! i think you need wider rims; it may be staggered but you need to go wider than that! pics of your sound system would be great. you have all the show but nothing for go. save up for a turbo and youll be all set.

Love the color, and I love the hood! I normaly don't give a rat's about a carbon hood, but I love the way it's trimmed out in the orange.

Indeed. The wheel well looks a bit empty. Need taller wheels, and you need to push them further out towards the fender. The fender and wheels need to be plumb. Just look at a Chip Foose car for examples.

But super sweet ride dude.

I agree, I have spacers for shows, just not when Im actually driving... heres why.

I also dont have an endless budget. There are no sponsors on the car, and everything has been purchased over the course of years. I'd love to get a turbo, and wheels that fit without spacers, but I just dont have 2 grand to spend on EACH wheel. I agree it would look alot better, so send me someone to hook me up The sound systems geting built now, and as Kevin said, the D3's going in to replace my DDX7015. It is nice that I can slam the car at shows and the wheels tuck with mad negative camber. Its just a ridiculous amount of work to do so.. Thanks for the comments anyhow
