^^^ A flat black would definitely be interesting. I like more of a satin black with a tiny bit of gloss.

 

The talk was that only 50 were going to be sold at Longo toyota.

It had:

5axis Rims
5axis Lipkit
5axis Grill
Orange Stoptech? BBK
5axis trimmed seats/interior

it would have definitely sold if they would have made it into 2500 production and kept it within 20k

 

The 5axis car just kills anything that Toyota will ever do with the tC. Think of all those custom pieces that 5axis made for the tC. I don't think Toyota will shell out more cash for that when they already have a bunch of parts for it (even if they are as old as the tC is). They are trying to make money which is proven by the fact that they have not added any new parts to this car. And the changes they made were easy, stitching on the wheel, new fabric on the seats, TRD badges and stitching on the mats, and wheels . Plus I bet you they could sell the new RS to people that don't even know what an RS is, which I bet was part of the plan.

I would pimp a trd'd tC... as it is described... but I think there should be something on the exterior that is only 5.0... grill, lip kit or maybe a new spoiler design, something like that...

 

yeah i agree every other rs had someting unique on the exterior, i guess this one has the rims. but i would change out the exhaust asap lol, and it's not going to be flat black lol

 

Another fail from scion. I mean come on, gloss black paint, which is very close to BSP if not worse, rims are awful, and a bunch of wanna be RS parts that are just normal TRD parts

 

when scion originated, they were to inspire youth and listen to the customer. now it seems with new managment, they are failing miserably! no new tc til 11, no toyubaru, terrible rs's!

 

you think this is bad how would like to be a gen 1 xb owner....

 

i blame the current state of the economy, they arent willing to go as crazy to add more on top of the price of the car, just look at the RS6 xB2 compared to the RS5 xB2

Why couldnt the tCs have an Envy Green as a RS color. That wouldve looked awsome. Or an orange or gold like the RSxB2. Well Ill have to see more pix of the new RS to really put a word in it

 

jack hollis told us that the tC didnt get crazy paints as the xB cause of the factory that its painted in, they do a lot of other toyotas that they need the room for regular colors and there isnt the space/cost effective for a crazy color to get in there for a limited run.

Only thing that sound cool that might be seeing id the Blk Leather steering wheel cover w/ red stiching & the matching seats!.....oh well....Another disappointment from Scion giving the tC a lame RS!

 

i guess we have to wait and see whats is gonna turn out to be....
