Doubt it..They only came out with the Xas for 1 year and the Xbs for 1 year..If I recall, I may be wrong..

in 2006 Im sure the Scion dL will come out..Its a Sedan..No pics of it yet tho..

Why would U wanna wait? the TC is cheap..I think it is.. ?? Hmm

I am pretty sure the tC will be out for 2006, toyota is getting rid of the Celica and replacing it with the tC, considering you can get more features and power for less $$$. The mr2 spyder is gone also.

You are wrong. Both the xA and xB are in their second year (2004 and 2005) and have a few more years left.

And the dL is nothing but a rumor right now, so I wouldn't count on that being out in 2006 (although I wouldn't rule it out).

More features yes, more power...depends which Celica you're referring to, if the GT, yeah...a little more power, but if the GT-S then no.

Interesting enough, the new GT-S's stock 0-60 time is 7.3 manual, while the tC is 7.5. Not much of a difference.

If you mean a complete redesign that is somewhat true (only most of the time, some car companies do it every 3 or 4) but car companies are always improving upon current models. In looks and features.

Default Xa will be out XB WILL STAY

Talked to a Scion rep at the CA international Auto show. He said that the Xa will be around for another 1-2 years. The Xb will be around for an indefinite time because its sold the most and the Tc is projected to be around for a long time based on current demandwill be around. Can't wait for the DL. If it is a sedan, I wonder if it will be tight like the 300.

it is my understanding that the tC will not change its design for few years... wat they have right now is selling like hot cakes. Toyota can produce enough right now to meet the demand.

as for xA and xB... both will be gone in 2 model years. I believe a total new design K-Cars will arrive...more than likely as 2007 model..but will be offered in late 2006. The name xB will prob be gone as well... all this is to upgrade the aging xB. Although it's fairly new in U.S. - it is an outdated car in Japan..been out since 98 or 99.

I've seen some crazy redesign look of the interior for the new replacement...and it's gonna be futuristic with more features. Hold onto you seats. I saw the rendered designed at a Focus Group couple months ago when chief engineers from Toyota came to visit us.

It's a marketing strategy as well...cuz Nissan will be bring their "Cube 3" to the states in 2006. I think Honda will be offering the FIT soon too... everyone's jumping onto this k-car craze. Scion is leading the way...hehe.

You should wait only if you want MP3/IPOD jacks in the head unit. Thats supposed to be a change for all 2006 Scions. Or if you want the RS 1.0 Red. Aside from that expect no or minimal changes into 2006.

And I wont comment on the Celica vs. tC posts sbove-That should go on another thread. IMO

marcelino

Good morning to all-it is 27 F here in balmy michigan. Soon We will have video of tC's drifting through our parking lots.
