i KNOW that it says xA and xB and not tC, but i believe that this was written before the tC came out, so i was wondering if anyone knew if this fits or if anyone actually has this on their tC? thank you!

 

I think it does. I know on e-bay they have it for the tc and I have seen it on other sites aswell. But im not 100% sure.

 

I havent checked, but I know the gas caps sound different when you put them on (tC vs xA) So it is possible they are not the same.

Yeah, one has a "whissshhop" sound the other is more like a "whooosssshhhop".

 

No, the xA doesnt click on the same as the tC does.
In fact the xA Doesnt really make a click sound when you put it on, I have no idea if it has to do with the cap or what. It kinda just springs into place. If you put one on you would see what I mean.

 

Does anyone have one? What are the gains? Has anyone done a dyno on it? What about seat dyno?

 

I would have to go with no since they LIST the vehicles that it fits.
Part number for tC is 11591, the xB/xA is something esle.

 

are you serious? i think it's just for looks. kinda like a TRD oil cap. you can't have a fuel cap that provides gains, that is legal. emissions won't allow a cap with holes in it, obviously TRD wouldn't either. i read somewhere that a hole in the cap will somehow get rid of extra pressure in the system...i didn't really believe what i read though.
you'll get the same amount of gains if you add a grounding kit, lol
i don't think you'll gain anything other than looks from this cap.

That's what I was thinking.

While I can agree with customizing to a degree and all... what's the point of this? Are you going to go to shows and leave your fuel door open for people to see the cap? I think that you could spend $40 on a lot better things than that.

 

Thats what I was thinking. I mean its kind of a conversation piece I guess, but I would definitely spend the money on something else.
